Nice tanks man. When i was younger and healthier i had a lot of aquariums. I still enjoy it but i dont really have the ability to take care of them. I really like oscars, had some really big ones loving with my aztec cichlid.
Well he said why he did that in the video if you actually watched it. None of the hardscapes could be any bigger so it looked like crap, which is why he took it back to a normal size.
Cichlids are one of my favorites!! Had 2 one past of old age and other had to regime on the account I didn't have and couldn't find a good tank to suit him. So a friend of mine took him in. I love tanks that are full of life and all but the barren type tanks are by far the best in my eyes. More seeing the fish and less maintenance. Great tanks in game and irl BTW!!
I'm definitely more on the casual side than the enthusiast side of the aquarist hobby, but we've had our first success breeding cycle with a surviving little giant danio that is now about an inch long. We were really excited to see this little fish appear out of nowhere and start growing up.
I enjoy the aquarium vids because I find it fun and fascinating to see the “real” drae come out and show us a more semi serious side instead. I would actually LOVE to see your irl aquarium setup Drae, especially after watching hours of you talking about it haha. Stay awesome dude.

Looking to set up another 110 for some fish I'm breeding, and I'm always willing to check out some new lights (especially if it's a brand I don't know about). Speaking on the oscar tank... Simplicity is fine, especially for fish that love to rip planta apart. Besides, the hardscape looks pretty cool. Wife's tank looks great! I'm assuming the "cleanup crew" involves shrimp? Saw some orange/red, so I'm assuming they're a breed of neocaridina.
I heard flushing fish was actually not good for the environment but I live in the desert so I really have no firsthand experience on if thats correct lmao

We have pea puffers at the college I work at. The four are adored by students but my god the little buggers are VICIOUS.
Dont forget to put bigger pumps and filters for bigger tanks. :) as always an awesome video :)

Nevermind the shrimp question. I noticed the yellow one below the orange/red one.
My little Jack Dempsey is such a wimp. It's terrified of the firemouth. I suppose she's still young, so maybe that'll change with age.
Oh predator tanks are always tough especially when you need to think of spieces and their sizes but for the most part I love tiny tanks
