In December 2015, 28-year-old Rosemarie 'Kim' Junor was browsing in a drug store in an underground shopping concourse in Toronto’s financial district, when she was stabbed in the chest by a complete stranger.
Why would anyone want to murder the sweet, innocent ultrasound technician and newlywed? The attacker, a woman in her forties, went into hiding but eventually was taken into custody. The subsequent trial resulted in a verdict that still haunts the family of Junor today.
