This type of dance is pretty addicting, either watching it or trying out by yourself. I started to go to EBM/Industrial/Cyber-Goth meetings recently and to be honest i look like a giant Chewbacca doing irish dance. Then one day i realized no one beside me was giving a shit... and everyone lived happily ever after. Gotta love the Industrial community.
A lot of people here are making cracks at how they look, dress, or dance. The whole point of this is individuality. Some went in with the whole cyber-goth look and that's awesome. Some went in looking pretty plain and that's awesome too. Some even went in clothing that isn't even considered industrial by most people and that's ok! It's about dressing in a way that makes the person feel good about being themselves and liking what they like and dancing how they dance. I say keep at it and have fun!

I listen a lot to EBM and Industrial, i listen to hardstyle/jumpstyle, i listen to trap/dub, i listen to a lot of different kinds of music, and when i'm into the music i bust whatever moves that feels natural natural to the beat. IF you like the music, Try it out yourselves, it is lots of fun, and the basics does not take that long to learn ;)
I'm in the upper midwest of the United States. It's pretty hard to find things pertaining to "alternative" culture, especially the area I am from. My town did have a night club that specifically catered to LGBT people and played a lot of industrial and dubstep but the club closed down
Hm, well I would imagine that the states have everything :) If it's the same as in europe I wouldnt know, but indeed when it comes to alternative cultures, it's not really that easy. I live on Malta at the moment and here there is nothing going goth/industrial going on, however there are one or two rock/metal clubs that are also more alternative with goth/industrial every now and then. It's quite nice actually with the mixed crowd and headbang for a few songs and then suddenly industrial pops up :) Fortunately google should be your friend for finding likeminded people and forums :)
It’s really cool how diverse this community is, yet all working the same moves their own ways. What I like most about this scene is it’s authenticity, people dancing because they feel it and are hooked into the rhythm track.
I'm sure there are things like it in large cities if you know where to look. The clothing isnt really my thing but a lot of the girls look really good, the music is really good, and the dancing is really good.
so watching this I just couldnt stop thinking about some family walking by and the kids are like "whats that" and the parents are like "dont look at them and walk faster" hahaha

I think it is very interesting.I've never seen people dancing like this (I'm dancing Freestyle/Ballet btw) and at the first sight it seems like uncoordinated, ramdom moves but the loger you watch it, the more you get in to it and see the tecniques and different moves/syles. Like I said: interesting, not my style but cool.

It is essentially the brew of throwing Raver, Goth, a small bit of emo, some dubstep and some fake hair into the mix. Usually good people like most other Goths though.

This video makes me miss a place in Madison, Wisconsin, USA called the Inferno. It was always such a great "judgment free zone". I suppose there is the Crucible now. Anyway, I wish there were a BIG festival like this in the US. For now, there is usually a cool alternative dance club in most bigger cities. This video is great and the dancers are great!!!

I'm not a goth but I loved this. It's so interesting to see all the ways people dance. And it makes me happy to see so many people who are so into it. You can feel their enthusiasm about the music and their dancung and even just the scene

I miss industrial dancing for years now. I amazed friends and strangers in my community. I was the only one to industrial dance around my town.
God that looks like hella fun. Would love to go to something like that if they still happen.
I found a new hobby. I really like the music. Especially aggro tech. My homeboys think I lost my mind. I found something that I love.
