- Our culture today says, “You can have your truth and I can have my truth.” But truth doesn’t change or shift positions. Based in reality, and inseparable from God’s eternal nature, truth stands as an unchanging stronghold that we can cling to and build our lives on.

Pastor, thank you so much for your honesty about the evil you battle in your mind. Sometimes I feel so guilty about my thoughts and feel that perhaps I'm not saved but I am comforted to know that it is something we ALL battle and we have to be on guard against it always.

Conviction of the Holy Spirit is different than condemnation from Satan.

[8] And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: [9] of sin, because they do not believe in Me; [10] of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; [11] of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.
You described it perfectly! Believers are not fully redeemed and set free from sin until death or rapture. We wrestle flesh vs spirit while in this corruptible body. It is stained/scarred with sin, as you described, and when believers pretend that's already "gone" and they are already "set free" from sin and their past in a literal sense, or the struggle with sin, they are not being truthful. That's why we are told to PRACTICE righteousness. Keep practicing.... stay at it. It is lifelong. We also don't forget our sin/past and that's a hard thing (Satan uses it to condemn) but a good thing, too given our life before the Lord and His Spirit indwelling us keeps us humble, remembering where we came from, and very grateful to the Lord for where we are going thanks to HIM. ❤

I am just the same,; a real battle of the mind, the devil accuses me about my rebellion in youth. Therefore if any one is in Christ they are a new creation the old has gone the new has come. Praise God.

If you tell the people a lie long enough eventually it becomes the truth. And if you don’t believe in something you’ll believe in anything. The devil seeks to find and destroy weak minds and souls.

When you have complete faith and trust and love in our Lord. It is amazing how everything makes sense. God‘s word is the most precious thing we have on this earth. You have to love him and talk to him constantly. Most importantly you need to listen, let the Holy Spirit guide you. Imagine how much you love your child. Our Lord loves us more than we can even imagine. He will give you discernment things that don’t make sense and aren’t truth you will see it. Look for him every day talk to him every day and spread your love towards everybody. I lost my husband tragically on July 3. If I didn’t have the Lord in my life, I would be completely lost. I sometimes think I wish he was sitting right there at the chair or it is recliner and then I think about how much he was suffering. He is with our Lord now is in no pain. His heart is full. And that gives me so much comfort. Thank you Lord for every minute of every day that you remind me this.

I knew someone who used the words of the bible to lure someone to them. Having them believe they was a child of God when they was satan themselves.

I think many use the "relationship not religion" as a way to not follow Christ every day. Many have a messed up view of what a relationship is. Would you consider yourself in a relationship with someone who only comes and visits you once or twice a week and never calls? Christ wants a relationship with you, not visiting hours. If you only visit Him in a building, you arent in a relationship.

Pastor Jack, the teaching that there is nothing said about healing of these bodies in scripture is a denominational lie. I’m shocked you believe it. There is no way of knowing the damage this teaching is doing in the Body of Christ. I pray your eyes and heart will be opened, and you will see and teach the Truth about healing.

BUT, I, respectfully, have to disagree with you, on watching “Lord of the Rings!” In Lord of the Rings magical wizards are the heroes and other magical characters are on both sides, be it evil or good. I find this series of movies to be just as destructive and dangerous, to our kids, as “Dungeons and Dragons.”
