I bought the Bissell Proheat 2x Revolution Pet carpet cleaner but the clean tank wasn't fitting so I called Bissell and have to admit their customer service is outstanding and were extremely professional. I love that they're sending me a new clean water tank without charging me. The best customer service ever! Keep up the great service and I'll be a customer for life.

Wow… I came here to figure out how to turn those off, only to find out you can’t? What the hell is even the purpose of having a hose attachment if the brushes are just gonna burn up your carpet. I've had this machine for a long time. It does a great job but every time I forget the brushes keep spinning when using the handtool and every time I burn up the belt as a result. Get yourself a few extra belts to have on hand when you forget this dumb feature. An on/off switch for that belt drive would have been SUPER EASY put into the design.

Not to mention using the tools that connect to do a stain the rollers are going flat out in one spot and ripped a hole in my rug. Why on earth make a model no better then the 3 yr model before. The latest one at least the front all comes of so you can clean it. Not sure if the rollers spin when using the hose. Just be aware that cleaning this machine after you have cleaned you carpet is just as time consuming. I wish I knew the other model was coming out as I would have waited 3 more weeks and brought that instead. I hard,y use it now as it just makes me mad knowing there’s a better model.

+raindroplet724 Great questions! Mold/mildew tend to be from the environment but doing a water rinse (like in this video) will still do a great job keeping the hose clean even though it cannot be removed on your 8910. We don't have a video for the water tank but we do recommend rinsing it out once you're done cleaning. The plastic bladder can also be removed if you'd like to do a deeper clean on the tank. There's a red water gasket and insert that sticks out of the bottom of the tank. Remove the three screws holding this to the tank you'll be able to remove the clean water plastic badder.

I was cleaning a mattress use the hose attachments and the the machine was sitting on carpet. While I used the attachment the brush roll was spinning and then a bunch of the brissels fell off the brush roll. Is the brush roll suppose to be moving when I'm using the hose attachment? If not, how can I fix this problem?

Not sure if you got a response yet, but I recently had a similar problem, and when I picked up the machine from the brush is spinning it must've burned the belt or something, because there was a black mark left on my carpet! I contacted Bissell and they are sending me a whole new unit. I guess in the future I will just have to lean the machine backwards so the brushes are not spinning on the carpet and ruining the machine- you would think they would find a way to turn them off when not in use.

Nothing stops the brushes from spinning... got one the other day and same issue.. leaning back doesnt stop em.. everyody says to put cardboard under it.. unit is expensive garbage and a fraud to consumers. Should be recalled and switch installed to turn off spin.. the one in the video is different and brushes arent spinning...

+S. Nur Hussain The trigger for the hose is located on the end of the hose, right before where the upholstery brush attaches. If it's not spraying when pressed give us a call and we'll help! 1-800-237-7691.

I guess the product designers have not used the machine themselves at home. After just few uses, you will see that carpet fibers stuck inside the tool. Obvious! Sucking the water through the tool is not gonna dislodge the fiber. The only way is to pop the clear plastic cover off. Have not figure out how. Bad design!

Hi Henry - try using the included nozzle clean out tool, it should help with removing any trapped debris in the brush.
