- Pene Pati makes his recording debut with the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine and Emmanuel Villaume in an album of dazzling tenor arias, showcasing his talent in roles from Verdi's Duke of Mantua to Gounod's Romeo. Discover here: w.lnk.to/ppaLY
In the tenor's own words, "This album has been carefully curated to make the listener feel the varied intensities of life ... I hope you enjoy listening to this album of a Pacific boy singing famous European arias. I’m excited for you to hear what the Pacific color sounds like and what potential lies here. I hope this musical journey leaves you with warmth, tenderness, and the sincerity of storytelling. To me, this is the essence of opera and the reason why I sing."

Beautiful voice very reminiscent of Pavarotti. His interpretation of the aria shows he has listened to Pavarotti. You have the wherewithal to be great. Well done Mr Pene Pati.
I like this man, not only because of his excellent voice, but also because of his natural appearance. Bravo! 👏👏👏
Man it’s sweet to be alive in 2022. Imagine the chances of hearing something like that 200 years ago even once in a persons life
I hope, it's sarcasm.
@@operafairy *Bitter Sweet, then indeed.
Verdi's Rigoletto is almost 200 years old lol
200 years ago you had more chances to listen to good singing alive)
the italians would have fun with his name though...
There are songs I like, others don´t, but sometimes one is so perfect that bring tears to my eyes. Thank you.
This man's voice and the orchestra literally gave me goosebumps. Bravo!
He IS the new Favarotti and probably the best tenor on earth at the moment. He is truly amazing.
Usted sí que sabe 👌👍🇪🇸
Wow, what a incredible and wonderful voice !! 😍🌞❤️🎶🎙🎶❤️👌🤗 Congratulations and thank you so much to you all and Warner Classics. 💕💕💕🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐😊🌹❤️🙋♀️🇨🇵😍🫂🫂🫂

This is
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
🙏💜🙏
💜🎵💜
Amazing all around. That final note. ...I was transported into bliss:)
The staccato is amazing in this piece, always a favorite.
where do you find any staccato in this piece? marcato, may be.
Lovely! The orchestra sounds so crisp and clean and his tone is heavenly.
Both orchestra and tenor are horribly dispiriting. This so called ''first rate'' singing can only dissapoint.
@@operafairy 🤣😂😂😂 poor guy
Hoy lo encontré a Pati. Vos redonda, afinada y buen fraseo...
Probably the closest performance to this of Pavarotti sofar !
Wow. Wow, wow, WOW! What a voice 💗💗💗
Loved it!
Why are the musicians dressed like vagabonds?
@Christodavid X It shows a lack of care. I don't really like it.
@@fabrizio483 Thank you for caring! You're right, it's a total lack of respect for themselves, the music, the profession, the art, and every standard of decency. Classical music is supposed to be "classy" not trashy. It's pathetic how slovenly people are and then they make it worse by wearing stupid masks! They've been engineered to be degenerate and demoralized. Pretty soon they'll be wearing pajamas and crocs like in the movie "Idiocracy".
Well said!
Lack of care? Ok so I guess they didnt dedicate their whole lives to their art and didnt practise for hours and hours to sound this good because they are wearing comfortable clothing on a god damn rehearsal. 🤦🏻♀️
In this case it doesn't matter how they are dressed. The main question is Why do they make their job sooo bad? Obviously they don't care anything and as result horrible singing and mediocre orchestra's performance in ''vagabond's'' clothes. It's circus, not new CD studio recording.
Bravo!
Master voice!!!
Your voice is powerful and delicate at the same time Lovely!
Grande! Bravissimo
Bravissimo!!!! BIS!!!
Recuerda a Pavsrroti,igual de grande
But as far as I can tell, you are Russian, not Italian?
His voice gave me goosebumps. Very nice! ☺
His voice like Pavarotti ❤️
His voice is not like Pavarotti, he just tries to imitate his way of singing this aria, but this is a horrible parody actually. Just try to listen to his interpretation of big Duca's scene Ella mi fu rapita with cabaletta Possente amor and you wil hear his real miserable voice without this cheap imitating. Hey, people, are you deaf? Wake up, your ignorance destroys the Opera!
@@operafairy I agree it’s not like Pavarotti. However, I’ve heard his voice live. These recordings do him no justice. He has an incredibly effortless and yet ever present voice.
@@Chris-wm4th I'm glad that you've liked him. I've listened to him in person once and don't want to experience it once more, sorry. Nothing special, to put it mildly.
Beautifully done 💗

👏👏👏🍀
oh yeah!
BrAvo
Definitely an improvement over previous videos I've watched of his singing. The sound in his middle is (at least in this aria) cleaner and better matched to what is going on in the rest of his voice. High note wasn't so great, but ok enough. Not sure about his Italian? All in all, a nice "B" level voice; maybe he will continue to grow into something more...
Saw him live. His recordings do him no justice, he is incredible live
What pompous...
😂
@@jakeyell I watched your video from a few years back wanting to find you obtuse but unfortunately I found you endearing and articulate and easy to understand. I did find your comment regards "B" level voice a little unkind but meh opinions. You seem well grounded enough haha
Who`s the quirky conductor?
Wow, malo lava uso
OMG! Nice and just!
Bravo.
Bravissimo❤
BRAVO!

BRAVO!

Every tenor in the world should be studying this man. This is what it’s supposed to look like.
Look like? Sound like, I suppose you mean. And if this is how a great tenor is supposed to sound like in the 2020's, the opera world is in dire straits.
Come Pavarotti
Very weak perfomance. Singing without required depth of the voice and breath
Ohhhh Snap.!!
