They're incredible live. Such a high energy show. I love all their songs, but HURT and SALT are some of my favorites. Also, anyone who likes these guys need to listen to cleopatrick
some song recs: 81 tonnes (newer song) animation(an older song) .intodeep. (a personal fav) .salt. (a personal fav) .haunted. ( less heavy personal fav)
We’ve seen DPS 31 times if that tells you anything about how well they pull this off live. Absolutely stellar performance, vocals are outstanding, and these guys are stupid nice people too! Very highly recommend seeing them if you can
I’ve been a fan for years. Can’t believe they’re not bigger. I just saw them today at Shaky Knees in Atlanta and they played at the same time as Royal Blood. I’ve always thought they were better and after seeing them live I definitely made the right choice. It was funny because the lead singer actually goes, you know royal blood is playing right now, so wtf r you over here?
Hell yeah!! So glad you like them!! Absolutely gonna send a few more of their songs your way, including some lives. 😎 Still sifting through concert videos to find the better quality ones (lots with fine/good sound in general but most don't have enough balance & either the low or high end get drowned out or muddy), but I'm finding some good contenders! They also have a few professionally recorded lives - not great at showing their usual energy on stage, but solid sound. I absolutely get what you mean by vocal tones/styles like Jack's sometimes being an absolute mess live. Thankfully his voice keeps it's amazing quality live, like 95% of the time. He does need good, solid breath support for a lot of their songs & sometimes he's just rocking out too damn hard to be totally accurate , but such is life when you're a kickass band who writes awesome music that's a blast to play. They've got some great sub-genre range and interestingly written tracks I think you'll get a kick out of as well as their more straight up and down rock ones (which still aren't really ever "standard" imo). I'll try and get some variety for the next couple I recommend of theirs 👍
We have seen them about 6 times, and every single time Has been better than the last. Definitely check them out in concert. They rock. We are officially obsessed!
I just learned about these guys, too. I Hope You Hate Me was the first song that made my jaw drop. I highly recommend the song "Hard to be God" next. Please check that one out! Here's the UA-cam music link to it. If you liked this, you don't be disappointed. I think this will be my album of 2024. music.ua-cam.com/video/11zryuf2fF0/v-deo.html&si=1ywRc5DKlcLzwWHh
This song really does just have such a great build up. I love this band. As a huge fan of Royal Blood, DPS is like them, with a FULL band, and it's so good.
From their brand new album, I really love 81 Tonnes: ua-cam.com/video/EXNG7pavE6I/v-deo.html. And, you need to check out this live version of .georgia. from their previous album: ua-cam.com/video/R4zP2_QfOAE/v-deo.html
Ok, this reaction was 8 months ago so maybe this is a late suggestion but you have to check their song Hurt. Pau (The Warning) just sang Hurt with this time in a recent rock festival. She killed it!
Saw them live in Pittsburgh and they went freaking hard! So damn good. Pretty sure their producer also produced the new The Warning album. Dany is a huge fan of DPS. 🤘🏼
Check out a band called Tiny Ships song called Fear The Blur Read that the lyrics for the song was from a therapy session yet the music is so alt rock and driving. Give them a peep too!

They are amazing live! Seen them twice now!
They are great live! You should check out lovemelikethat, running in circles or coda!
I think singer Jack Underkofler is close up there with Conor Mason of Nothing But Thieves.
