It is an active church with weddings, funerals and all other services for the members. Have a plan B on the day you want to view the basilica's interior. There is a castle on top of the hill that is worth a look while waiting for a wedding to finish.
Different chapels on various levels, so it is very likely you'll be able to attend Mass. Beautiful vista view overlooking the valley.
