Nice. On a 16:9 monitor with 1080p you can't read anything in Sylenth1. And why don't you show your ClipDist Settings for the Tail? :P Anyway, nice quick on-point tutorial.
When working with kicks, you'd need to have a hard clip at 0dB at the end to avoid having a different result when exporting. In that regard adjusting the channel volume fader becomes irrelevant. Use utility tools in the chain to adjust volume in between plugins.
The principal is the same in each DAW the only difference is Logic's stock plugins but there are alternatives for distortion, EQ etc. Like iZotope Trash 2, MAudio Waveshaper & so on if you look around. Good luck man
You can get pretty good results with the Ableton Stock Plugins like Amp, Overdrive and Saturator. The DAW is not the limit, it's your knowledge about the function of the plugins.
It's because he recorded it in 4K. On his monitor it's all readable i think, but if you don't have a 4K display, you're fucked. Also can't read anything.
I've never seen it done in Sylenth1. Well done!
Keeping it simple works too, brother ;)
pro trick : watch series at kaldroStream. Been using them for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.
@Edward Bode definitely, I've been using kaldrostream for since december myself :D
@Edward Bode Yup, been using kaldrostream for months myself :D

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I now have a better idea of how to achieve that mid-intro kick sound.
Glad to help :)
You can help me by liking/sub'ing!
very well explained kick tutorial....one of the best since a very long time...great work
Gonna try replicate this in FL, it's gonna be a challenge haha! Thanks for showing. Amazing result!
You can use venm. A free distortion unit that's similar to logics clip distortion :)
@@SlayerDarkRaver Only got a demo version which is shit. Full version isn't available anymore since the developer went bankrupt.

Anyway, nice quick on-point tutorial.
Is the second and third clip distortion had the same parameters of the first ? I'm far from your result by using Distroyer on Cubase 10
Nice tutorial. And great kick also.
You’re great thanks !!
Love the tutorial. In any part of the process do you touch the volume faders of each individual channel?

Awesome tutorial! Could you also advice Distortion plugin like Clip in Logic for other daws? Or just make a fresher tutorial))
Misstortion 2 by Nimble Tools is a free very good one and is used by Headhunterz and Frontliner, at least that I know of.
@@OrangeyTangerine oh, okay then, thank you))
Goliath sounds - Venm is a good one
Subbed. Really helpful tutorial! Now I just need an alternative to Logic's clip distortion...

Very good man! nice kick, but please make bigger your Sylenth ):
The video is in 4k my man. That makes it all smaller ;)
Any other plugin that has almost the same result as Logic Clip Distortion? I've tried D- Stortion, Venm, Camel... but they are still different...
If u play with the bipolar mode in trash 2 and the waveshaper inside of it you can get a similar effect
Bro, can u make this kick in Abletonn please, i dont have Logic

Love that tail. 😍
I see you have Logic Pro X now?

I don't see your Sylenth1 menu, it's so small ...

I’m sorry but wtf is a mid intro
Sabrina Vella yeah I was thinking that but it’s still an intro. I didn’t realise there was sectors within a part
Sabrina Vella I don’t have my new music setup yet so I can’t tell ya which plugin is better.
