Delivery riders: a statistic waiting to happen? - EUNICE

When you ride for a living, you face long, odd hours on the road, unpredictable weather, and fatigue.
Nine out of 10 delivery riders interviewed by The Sunday Times in 2019 said that they had met with accidents or knew of fellow riders who had met with accidents since they started working in the industry. With demand for food delivery services spiking since the pandemic, this is certainly a worrying trend.
Eunice has seen her share of scrapes as a delivery rider, and tells us what she's learnt from her experiences.
