Looks really good and look like it de yellows the scans too. Maybe not toss the paper copy though. People are still paying for original books, data books and manuals yet.

Hi, It'd be really helpful if you could make a video on the OCR quality of the scanner, and how accurate it is with different types of content (equations, chemistry, mcq layouts, etc.) Also, if you could recommend any other scanner options with good OCR. Thanks a lot.

Got mine after "Curious Marc" demonstrated it scanning the HP manuals, it is really cool. There was a 20% discount at the time, may still be available. They also just came out with a new one that runs ~$100.

Does the auto flatten work well on pages with color pictures?

My office bought one and it's really nice but I still haven't figured out how to save a job to continue the next day ; a book with many pages , for example (I don't think there's any way ; it's a flaw) . It draws attention to the excellent quality of the images .

Hey IMSAI guy, I’m currently trying to get into RF circuit building and I’m trying to build a 2 stage superheterodyne FM radio. I’ve been experimenting with VCO’s recently with varactor diodes and could only find a few pictures online that didn’t explain how they work. I was wondering if you could explain the workings of a emitter follower varactor VCO circuit and how to design one for a specific frequency? I figured I could ask now since you are currently working on the radio restoration.

When scanning English books, the pages are arranged from the left first and then the right, but is it possible to change these settings so that they are used from Arabic books in which the pages come from right to left.

A little pricey, but you can't argue with the results.

If you wish to order be sure to use the Black Friday Link AND the Discount code... The final price is $348.50 in case you missed that detail...I have vision problems so I normally buy ebooks... I hope this will make it easier for me to read normal books as well as turn them into ebooks so I can blow them up on my iPad or computer screen, nice find!

To let you know. I turn down any offers for in-video ads (I get a few). I hate those as much as you do. But, when a company offers me a $400 scanner that I know I can use, I will do a review.

The title makes it pretty clear it’s a review, so just don’t watch. The only time I take issue with such things is when it’s a shill review and the creator isn’t being transparent that he or she got a freebie in return for the review. As long as they’re upfront, you can make your own mind up about any bias.
