I'm so glad you were able to get your little kitty medical help! Thank you for all you do for the feral kitties in your neighborhood! I volunteer at my local animal shelter because I love cats so much

Oh did it end up being an inner ear infection,, I think you mentioned? So glad you could help him. We have the odd feral / stray cat as we live rural, managed a TNR one and we had another live her retirement out with us. My other two are rescues of a sort, one was dumped as a kitten and the other my friend couldn't take with her when she moved. I swear they find me haha! I love that coat it really suits you, such good condition too.

I am of your grandmothers generation and around 1976 Yves St Laurent created his "Russian" collection which featured a coat very like the one you inherited. The fur is Mongolian lamb. His coat was not in leather but if i remember correctly was a sumptuous fabric (but of course) with long Mongolian lamb at the cuffs, around the collar and down the buttonhole area and lastly hemmed with fur. There were knockoffs galore, one of which I bought. The coat fits you perfectly and grandma and your aunt lovingly and carefully stored it. Have fun feeling lux, channeling Natasha.😂

O M G I chuckled through this video so much! 🐏🐏🐏First the crochet squares….. the green and yellow combo reminds us of the Green Bay Packers so poooooo . The cat capture is pure kitty love there! 5 inch is great - easier to hold - I have 5 inch Chiaogoo as my main set and got their shorties set for hats etc.
I'm knitting socks with 5 inch tips, 2 cords, 4 needles, 24 inches each. I love your colors and your look. I'll be at home watching your video next week.

Have a great time at Fiber Festival. Love your crochet squares. I'm trying to find enough of the color I need for the knitted part if yarn for the Jethro Cardigan Im planning to make. So I have enough yararge for the crochet part. It takes a lot more yardage than I expected. Then the knitting sections. I don't enough of the same color to do. So its a work in my brain and scattered all over they in place? I'm tweighing yarn trying to get enough together. I bought a blocking board for blocking the crochet squares. I haven't crocheted in many years. I have re a quaint myself with it so I will be able to make the same sized squares. I think the Jethrow is very cool incorporating both crochet and knitting. I used to use rather cheaper yarns for crochet because I wanted to be able to wash and dry the blankets more easily. I crocheted with a lot of Lyon Brand fisherman's wool worsted weight. Its nice yarn but I think nice hand-dyed yarns will be more conducive for me enjoying crochet, more than I normally do. I am seeing a lot of crochet I am liking lately. I'm hoping I will enjoy will making the crochet squares and enjoy them more with hand-died yarns. For couch lap blankets you are wearing PJ’s or something so Im not bothered by them being a tad scratchy.
I agree I like the lantern moon cords, love that they are easy to adjust. Achicagoo is now making a good cord to use with their needles. Those have a silver connection to the needles and they also have the twisting capability which is awesome because there is not a ridge where your yarn gets stuck. I enjoy them also as it makes knitting easier to use and I love the wires inside the cord.s as well. They aren't so floppy and hit you in the face.
I won't be a Sheep and Wool. Wish I could go, Id love to meet up with you. Have a blast try not to spend too much and be overwhelmed when you get home with so much that you don't have time to knit.

Would love to see the weave in as you go technique for your granny squares. I really don't enjoy that part of Granny squares and I don't trust the knots people swear by that don't have long tails that still need weaving in.
