+Victor Anderson They're fixing the problem with Party mode. Party mode usually consists of the better agario players where they are allowed to team. That's where I almost always play. I call it leap frog teaming.. which I think is a really fun way to play the game. If you don't like teams do any other mode. I agree though that the bot problem needs to really be fixed.
I think it is better. Now it is actually a little bit hard to be the biggest one, it was too easy before...

A really concise, engaging and responsible tutorial. I love online quirky games like this but having a bit of help to understand what's going on is great. I don't understand what happens when some of the co-operating goes on and sharing mass with other players. That would be a really helpful video if you have the time.
The the mobile version is 10000000x more difficult. It is a great strategy game that helps assist your mind with problem-solving skills.
Well, see, there's often this big old jerk with 1000 mass that splits to eat someone who is 50 mass. And it seems they always go for me; I'm rarely on the leaderboard simply because of that.
Esyrim that’s called a savage, and they are likely not splitting for you, they are going for someone near or behind you with more mass that is more of use to them
Just try to stay away from the big folks, especially those who split a lot. Chances are, they aren't going directly for you, but you could still get caught in the crossfire.

Another thing you can do is when you are just smaller than viruses, position yourself in the center of the virus. If you do it well, you are completely hidden. Wait until a smaller cell runs by and jump out :)

Im pretty sure it is pronounced "ay-gar" like Agar jelly which is found in petri dishes, this would make sense as they are pretty much bacteria. :-)
The Gibwok They are not bacteria, they are used to grow bacteria in lab, agar itself is just a proteic gel basis made form an algae. It's a powder that you dissolve and put on the fridge to solidify and become a semi-solid

Yes Jake. The small dots are "bacteria" and the more and more bacteria you get makes you a deadlier bacteria. hence the name agar.

There's also one more for team battles where you can split into your ally's cell (who's chasing an enemy cell) to knock them closer if they're too slow. It's risky and can easily be messed up but it can work. :)
PRO TIPS FROM A LVL 23 :)
1) when you are small, try to split up so you could move faster , gain faster, but it makes you a bit more vulnerable.
2) when you have more than 100 mass, consider splitting on the green blobs (the ones that pop you) this may seem crazy but actually when you eat a green blob it gives you 100 mass but still pops you.
3) when someone shoots a random mass of them, try to spacebar into it as you could end up eating the person who shot it out, since he was trying to recover it, use logic on this one.
Man this brings back so much nostalgia... Cant believe I didnt see this back in the good old days
If you are a big blob, it is ideal to trap other blobs into a corner so that their speed doesn't help them much. If they are a little too quick, you can feed them a little bit with 'w' to make them slower. You can also use 'w' as bait for smaller players.

When you're spready big enough, I sugest going to the corner of the map, and following smaller players towards it, so if the get there, they have No space to move to, and you can simply eat them.

In case anyone is interested, you can get a goodle chrome extension that add some helpful settings, more specifically a border that you can see at the edge.
Also, it is possible to play this game on mobile, a little trickier, but still fun on the go eh!
I played on my phone its hard to rotate and looks like you are going faster but its not.

You can let off a blob of your mass and let a smaller cell take the blob. Then take the smaller cell afterwards.

Awesome tip: I usually put my name as "TemWitMePrsW" or "4 Tem Press W". This will let you and the other person acknowledge you both wanna team up and be of use to each other. The only real benefit of teaming up is a boost, if a person is bigger than you and u have your friend behind you, he can launch part of his mass "W" to make u bigger getting an easy kill. Its also a nice feeling knowing you meet someone friendly in a pvp game. Disclaimer: This doesn't always work, watch out for assholes that'll lure u in to kill u, doesn't really happen to me that much thought.

אברהם אלון Join a server close to where you live. So if you live in Europe choose the Europe servers etc. Also if you have a bad pc maybe try not having so many tabs open on your browser or not having too many programs open when playing. I don't really know what else it could be apart form sometimes Agar.io itself bugs sometimes when you are big. (Apparently)

0:52 His mass is slowly going down at 900 but for me even tho my mass would be 600 or less it would go down crazy fast. For example it will say 600 mass and I look away for 1 sec and it's at 450 already. I know this was posted 4 years ago so they probably made it go down quicker to make it easy for smaller mass players. If anyone knows can you help me out with why it's doing this to me.
You activate anti teaming mode. It makes you lose 100 mass per sec. There are special rules in FFA and experiential that make it occur, you can probabaly Google the rules

xisumavoid I suggest attempting to camp a corner with a virus in it during the mid game because if say number 3 on the leader board gets chased into the corner by number 1 you can shoot the virus into number 3 and then they will have no where to run so it will be much easier to consume their smaller peices

To me is easy to get to #1 In a matter of minutes without teams
same, my highest mass while teaming is 21k, while my highest mass without teaming is 15k, it sucks without teams. Anyone can simply throw a virus and fuck you over. a small guy threw a virus at me and he was too small for me to notice! so i got eaten by a large player and died ;-;
Lol. I on average 20k. And then when I get bored I refresh so my mass disappears and the server resets.

I have some tips for some ppl. First a normal green virus can be hidden in until you are 135 mass, at 135 mass you can be popped by the virus. In experimental, the red spawner fountain can suck in cells smaller than 170 mass, so 170 mass to 299 mass you can actually move through or stay in the red spawner without being consumed. Another cool trick for the red spawner is that at 320-599 mass you can split through the spawner cell to eat players on the other side without having your cell consumed.

One thing to add regarding massive-end game players-THEY ARE THE EARLY GAMES BEST FRIEND!Theyll normally ignore you and if you hover near them it will discourage mid game players.If they are split up into a massive horde you can slip through the cracks,practically making you invincible.Also if there is a end game fight you might wanna hover near by as the end game players will be distracted with each other and mid game/some late game players don't wanna get involved and risk getting split up and consumed.Note that if the end game players are virus shooting each other you can slip in and collect their little bits,making you stronger.
Very useful, I learned many things I did not know before. I am definitely coming back soon.

You didn't mention team games! Like ejecting mass into a loosing ally so that he is large enough to consume the blob his fighting! This isn't only great teamwork but it can save your life as well. Also shooting blobs into an enemy to slow them down.

5 years later here are some bonus tips.
These require a friend which is good at the game.
Also these will work on mobile but the cannon works in a different way on mobile.
All-in:
First if you w others they'll get mass then you can spam the split button in order to all in them. If they're near a bigger player they'll be faster and able to catch up then you use this trick to feed them all and eat the other player.
The tricksplit:
If your friend has enough mass you can spam the split button between you and the other player and at the same time your friend can split take all of your splitting to kill the other player.
The pre split:
This one is much harder but doesn't require a friend so players while teaming usually split into their teammate but sometimes they split once before that that's your chance as soon as you see them do this split (if your big enough double split) their teammate then they will all in you instead of their teammate and you will get a lot of mass.
Bait:
If you have a player which is about as big as you you can feed your friend to be big enough that you can split thrice without eating him then the other player can try to split the mass but if your curser is on your teammate you can all in him so you got him to split into your teammate now that he's in 2 pieces he's much easier to kill.
Cannon/inverse cannon:
So you are in one piece and your teammate is in 2 pieces now you have to be moving towards the other player and your teammate is infront of you your teammate has to all in towards your dirction but not on you it has 2 be slightly in front of you you split at the same moment then your able to do an effect like the trick split but it looks cooler that's the inverse cannon the cannon is the same thing but instead of your teammate all ining slightly in front of you he has 2 all in slightly behind the other player.
Those are the basic teaming techniques please tell me if something's wrong.

good basics, but there is a lot to build upon in order to become a "pro". I am a very aggressive player (watch my channel, agar pi) and typically split into at least 4 pieces when necessary. A tactic that I love is when you are split into two pieces (at least) and shoot someone on the other side of a virus using one piece. with a bit of precision you can split for that person, gaining their mass. I would personally recommend watching channels such as Wun Wun and Jumbo, and just take time to implement what you observe in your own game.
If your someone who teams in FFA mode wtaf go on team mode if u wanna teams there's almost no difference besides there is no leaderboard ._.

a tip i learned was to shoot some mass out, like 1 or 2, and then it will draw in the smaller guys, then u split and eat them, this would be used more towards the end of the mid game and pretty much the whole late game

After splitting gaining some mass and then moving the mouse in a scercal really fast and large will link you faster.

READ ❗️❗️NOBODY USES this tip if You divide in to Two you can go into a wall or a corner and feed the biggest of your two cells until you have a small blob and one that is how you can speed up the process of it reunitting into one 😄😃

Jonathan Popoca Actually in doing so, each time you shoot a blob, you loose a small percentage of mass. This could be trouble if theres a big guy chasing you and you use that tactic. Teaming up with another player is the best thing to do, if they are trusty enough; you can run your split peices into them and they will share the peices back.
Idk if what you said is true but even so if you are cornered and there is a cell about 2x the size of you because you slpit this can help by making you around the same size and he won't try to eat you

In expirmental mode there is a red thing if you give mass to it it will grow larger but it fires the small things called agar
