Nice I just bought a used 15g IM, i like the setup youve got for it, it didnt come with filter media but i have the mess lid and light
I'm debating if I should get the lid that comes for it but then also thinking of instead getting a glass or plexiglass lid for it to slow down evap. What light do you have for it?
@@queencityreefs In my opinion a lid wont do much with this specific tank since the filtration box will still be exposed and with clear lids you will be cleaning it non stop and wont have full output going thru when it gets dirty, honestly if you don’t plan on putting inhabitants that are at jump risk it looks flawless w/o a lid, just my take :)
They have the filter sock on their website or amazon also sells them in a pack or separately for a few bucks less

Brs sales the filter sock i have a few backups. I have that same tank and just put a mightyjet 538gph pump in it turned up to 1.4 and its got awesome flow now lol got the vca rfg on it too.

@queencityreefs ya it works great and in hindsight i probably could have went with the mightyjet 326 gph pump and been perfect.

@@soldierboy_4349 that's tough. I would want less cords and you do get 150 Watts for one vs 100 Watts for the 2. I'm thinking the one. Put sps under it and all other LPS and softies on the sides where there would be less PAR.
