  • The “Veterans Stories” series features Metro Area Vietnam Veterans sharing their personal experiences from the Vietnam War. The nine veterans who shared their experiences are: Lee Blackmon, Decker A. Decker, Jack McCormack, John McInerney, Guy Palumbo, Steve Tagg, Joseph Giannini, Michael Sulsona and Michael Mullarkey.
A very special and poignant portrayal of soldiers serving their country who upon returning from a job well done never heard: “Welcome Home”.

This is amazingly pertinent in light of today's events in Afganistan.

As a British 76 old guy now I am the same age as these guys. . I have never served in the military. But, in the 80s, my job took me into communist controlled Eastern Europe. I saw how awful comunisim was.
As a student of history I would like to thank these guys for their service, heroism, courage, fortitude,
    I fighting communism
There is no doubt their service was Not in vain. The US sacrifices in young men's blood and treasure gave the Chinese and Russian pause for thought about taking over the world. They stood up for Democratic governmrent.
The US should honour these boys. .
It is a disgrace that they were treated so badly. Hang your heads in shame Liberal left America.

I traveled behind the Iron Curtin in the Fall of 1989, just as the Curtin was beginning to crumble. He's right, communism does not work!
