@@DennisGruenlingI’m definitely going to practice the stacked harp technique. I love trying different positions for the same song, but don’t hold one harp on top of the other. Looks like a fun exercise.
Thanks Dennis! That is a tasty lick, & the lesson was very informative! Could you please do a lesson on how to do tongue flutters. You use them a lot on Microphone Mondays, & I can't figure them out, or replicate them. Please consider doing a lesson on that topic.Thanks. ~ Greg G. 🎵
lol I've never thought of just holding two harps at once instead of quickly swaping harps. It must be tricky while cupping the bullet mic too. Very cool makes it seem like its all done on one harp!
@@HanrahanJoel21 yes, it is not the easiest thing, and still get a good grip on microphone. My hands are big enough but don’t forget which harmonica is which!! 😂🤣
@@janpeters-jansongsproducti1010 well, honestly I haven’t played them in many years because I didn’t like how they played when they turned MS series. But I do like these newer ones I’ve tried. “New” for me in this case is like almost a year ago, but keep in mind the last time I played them was MANY years ago. I was pleasantly surprised!
Hey Dennis Hohner should make a harp like the Troculas Game changer where if you put the slide in it just changes it from a D to a A harp or visa-versa. I think that would be way more useful to me than just going up a half step. Anywho great lesson.. ALL HAIL FEARLESS FRIDAY!! Austin- 3:17
@@yannickharmonica thanks! Yes, I am sure I am not doing the 4-7. You are just hearing a tone thing, just hearing some overtones from the amplified sound I am getting 👍
@@ikust007 that’s what I’m here for! “Octave” = two notes an octave apart (the same note in a higher or lower register). “Interval” would basically be any other “interval” or musical distance apart, aside from an octave apart…In this case in 2nd position this interval is the root note (2 draw) and the b7th (flat seventh - 5 draw) 👍
It's fantastic that you put this stuff out there for all of us mere mortals on this thing.
@@markwymer9870 well, thanks! We all are on our own journey, and the biggest thing to remember is just keep trying…that’s really a huge part of it!

always such pleasure good sir!
so are you indicating that the Hohner blues harp has been upgraded, or retooled therefore improved?

Hi Dennis, absolutely love this. Are you sure you were not going up to the 4-7 blow octave in the 1st position lick. It sounds like that to me.
