I have a question, the question is do you think the advantageS outweigh the disadvantageS? Both advantages and dis are plural. In my opinion, the question indicates candidates to write as least more than one for both benefits and drawbacks. If we write 2 advantages and only 1 disadvantage as you said in the video, would it be considered as not fully answering the question? I recon the word here outweigh means in quality rather than quantity, otherwise they could've used outnumber. I'm not sure about this, this has been bothering me a long time. please answer me.
1. I agree outweighs means in quality; but quantity is still helpful as well. 2. I don't think you need to write 2 advantages and 2 disadvantages, but it is arguable. In my opinion, having two ideas for the side you support more strongly and only one for the side you support less is best. This is because the advantages of having a mathematical outweigh and a shorter essay outweigh the potential drawback that a small handful of examiners may want two advantages and two disadvantages.
If the instructions mention " you" " your" then you should give YOUR OWN opinion and YOUR OWN personal examples. The most important aim of science should be to improve people's lives. To what extent do *you* agree or disagree with this statement? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from *your own knowledge or experience.*
Six paragraphs would not work out well; although, I would not say it is wrong to write it this way, but the essay will either be TOO LONG or each paragraph will come out a bit "THIN" and lack development of the main idea.
Yes, this is fine. What would not be fine is to give a NEW advantage or disadvantage in the conclusion. I m not doing that, the sentence you are referring to is a mitigating statement for the disadvantage I have already stated in the body of the essay.
There is pluracy in the question but you only need to have the following 1. 2 points for the side you support so either 2 advantages or 2 disadvantages 2. at least 1 point for the state you support less 1 advantage or 1 disadvantage

I was told you shouldn't have examples that are too personal. So I am quite hesitant about using examples that start with "I blah blah blah..."

Can ielts task 2 academic writing have 6 paragraphs?

In your conclusion you added something new that was not in the body of the essay like 'videoconferencing' and metaverse. is this allowed?
Yes, this is fine. What would not be fine is to give a NEW advantage or disadvantage in the conclusion. I m not doing that, the sentence you are referring to is a mitigating statement for the disadvantage I have already stated in the body of the essay.
