Inner Mongolia is meat lovers HEAVEN!!!!! I love the stone stove lamb there, so juicy, so delicious!
Food like this is the reason why I need a gym membership and a treadmill at home! This is also why I like eating alone when I can because if I see food in front of me, I can't help but eat it. I think it is because since I was young, my mum would always tell me that I had to finish everything on my plate and not waste anything, otherwise, I wasn't allowed to have any dessert! That upbringing + large banquets in China just doesn't go well for someone who is trying to watch their figure lol.
My mom ask me not left any food in plate too

Fantastic Mongolian food. And wow, that painting, the mother with the arrows, that's Genghis (Chinggis) Khan's mother. The story went like this, when very young Genghis (Temunjin) killed his half brother in a tense sibling rivalry, his mother called all the children together and taught them about unity using the arrows. His mother was a major influence in his life, same like all of us..BTW, when Mongolian drink their Airag, they dip one of the finger into the drink and then, flick the wet finger outwards, they do it 3 times, as offerings to passed souls, before they drink. Not only just said... but enacting a law to fine food patrons for wastage and leaving excessive leftovers, and allow food outlets that offer buffet style meals to fine customers who took too much food and not finishing them.
That's a super fun meal! Make me appreciate veggies more ;-)

eating lots of meat makes one lazy and sleepy, look at the lions, tigers, etc..while eating lots of veggies makes one stronger, full of energy and awake most of the time, like horses, elephants, cows, etc
Is there possible another explanation: because meat can provide more calories and proteins than veg, so the predators spend less time on looking for food than those hebivores

I was raised on venison..... Give me the beef! Living in poverty means you harvest your own food by fishing and hunting. I can't eat venison these days... Too much of it growing up.
