I rode the pedders way from Thetford to the coast and back. In 2022. The trailer brings back good memories

A good video, it looks like you didn’t; pop your head through the woods at holkham to see the beach. That is absolutely worth it, the sheer size of it is incredible.

Oh we sure did, there's a tiny video of that I think, but didn't film enough as it was windy!

Brings back lovely memories. I tried it in October and started in Norwich but pulled a muscle in my back and had to stop at Thetford. I'll be back when it warms up. Why do you recommend anti-clockwise?

Hey David, it's a lovely route indeed.
I feel that leaving Thetford and King's Lynn last is nicer so you end with an high. There are more inhabited areas at the beginning, so you can stock up on food and leave the last day for Thetford and Diss. I would avoid Diss to Norwich as not that interesting.
The wind is also a big part in the choice of either clockwise or anti-clockwise direction.
One thing to note is that the few climbs are going to happen later in the trip if you go anti-clockwise.

@@TheBikeChallengethe diss to Norwich route is a rubbish route. I live on that part, and there’s better roads off the main route that are less busy, and much prettier.
