Darktide, for me, is one the best successors to L4D2, the intimate gameplay experience has enough depth for itself to have some skill to it. Which is fun to engage with, the feedback of the melee and the gun-feel, the reactions of physics of the enemies, it's awesome. It's just really lacking in content, would love a campaign, some story to progress through. They really missed the mark trying to make Darktide this live-service 'diablo' grind fest. They've now eventually made it a lot better with the item update, but it needs content and story, more modes, not just missions.
