Berlanga wants Canelo because he knows that’s a big payday so he doesn’t care if he gets knocked out in the first round. If he takes a fight that doesn’t make him a lot of money and loses he’ll never make the money he’s looking for. That’s all this is to him at this point because he’s in no way a top fighter

I share the same opinion. I think Berlanga should have a few more fights with the top 10 contenders first before he fights Canelo, although I think the long time he was way from the ring, affected him at the beginning of the fight. I saw some overall improvement specially his cardio. He looked fresh still by the time the fight ended.
