I was just telling my husband that she looks like someone who is living her dream. It's like a genie asked her what was her greatest wish and she said it was to be a rock guitar Goddess and he made her wish come true.
Everything about Gina Gleason is ringing true and perfect to me: the posturing, the use of a Telecaster, the chops--she is the epitome of rock and roll. A rarity in this day and age.
She's very good, I was very impressed live and she can fucking shred hard! I know a friend of her's from Philly who was in a Band Called Heavy Temple EVERYONE should check out from Philly... also she takes her shirt off live, I thought that was bad ass!
I'm old. Other than Baroness, I don't know who these people are. But, Jesus, this is a GREAT Danzig song and they nail it beautifully as a cover. The entire performance is tight, but the lead singer and guitarist in the kitchen (the new guitarist in Baroness, I think) are particularly fantastic to watch. Thank you.
Old Man Gloom is actually a fairly old band, it's a sporadically active side project of some fairly heavy hitters like Aaron Turner of ISIS and Nate Newton of Converge. The member featured here is Santos, their drummer. Candiria's been around since 1992, but very much an underground band. Potion is the only real new band, they are from Australia.
@@Darwinist Thanks, Einar. Although my love for metal shamefully died out by the early 90's, I had no idea about Old Man Gloom. Candiria, I've heard of, but know very little about them. Now that I think about it, Baroness seems to be one of the NEWER contributors here. How confusing. Going to check out Old Man Gloom...Again, thanks, man.
When 2m2 does a cover it’s always amazing. I really appreciate these during the lockdown. More Gina Gleason please! She rules. (I’m so stoked she joined Baroness.)
The Glenn voice is so amazingly on point. I almost feel like some gorilla of a security guy is going to come throw me out of my own house for having my phone out as I type this. It's that authentic.
Insane cover! That guitar solo was incredible, it's my favorite thing when people use the dimebag "technique" of grabbing the chord and sliding it up. Very cool and well implemented!
The quarantine might suck, but I'm going to remember all the remote collaborative videos as the high point. That, and finally having the time to beat Persona 5.
The drummer in this is severely underrated. Yeah, we all love Gina. She’s a national treasure, but this dude has sick chops as well as excellent comedic timing.
Thank you! You have everything immigable; Stoic Bassist, Walk-in closet with window, the very best couch olympics I've ever seen, fun dress-up, (I'm going as that worlock in white-face) sence of musical humor and respect. I am NOT a metal fan but this is soooo different. So 80's kind of, and certainly with that passion and fun. I've not had this much fun since Weird All.
This is amazing ! I think that I've listened to it a dozen times. You guys are awesome !!! I'm not familiar with the original song so I checked it out and I was really disappointed because of the amazing job that you did. Gina is a rock Goddess ! Gwarsinio has brought doing covers to a whole nother level ! I love you guys!
Awesome!! Love the half naked Glenn infront of bookshelf ripoff!! Super Cover as well! Love Mrs. Gleason. Way better than Glenns Elvis Cover accidents!! Keep up the joyful and good work! Much love from Germoney. Jesus. Pretty funny!
For those on this page wondering, the bassist is Stella Leung from the Australian Doom Metal band " POTION " > link on youtube ua-cam.com/video/5GjHbSldDIM/v-deo.html
Drums sound incredible. SG bass is a must have. Solo crushed. Jumbo's is my favorite bar in all the world. Pretty sure you guys did this one just for me. Thanks for that. *slow clap
Hahahahahahaha this was great especially the beginning. I was like Holy Guacamole they parodied the Danzig home video!! Gwarsenio does a great Danzig impression.
I am almost blind so I can’t actually see what you guys are doing in the video but when he yelled “WOAH, SNEAKY SNAKE! In the break before the solo I almost wet myself… And the changes on the stuff from the home video are super funny.

Sometimes Gwarsenio shouting "Whoa sneaky snake!" just pops into my head and then I have to come watch this cover again.
I can't listen to the original now without hearing Gwarsenio yelling "sneaky snake!" in my head.
Bro, glad I'm not the only one.
Exactly what brings me here…again…
I miss quarantine.
thats why I am here
Big Earl! Best comment, best avatar.
The Danzig home video and weird mic position references are what separates this from amazing cover, to god tier quality.
That Danzig VHS deep cut!
The VHS reference made me laugh my ass off...and since I was sitting down that got weird real quick.
You see the belt buckle? That's some real shit right there.
Hilarious
Damn that cracked me up! Good to see Danzig getting some love!
Gwarsenio is the missing link between Danzig and Richard Cheese, and I love it
Heh...Dick Cheese...
No fucking way. I was just thinking the same thing. That only goes to show you obscure, wonderfully absurd truth. They are the same guy.
Lol that's great
Who’s Richard cheese?
@@jspntr He does lounge jazz covers of rock/metal songs.
Every time I see Gina Gleason, she's smiling and looking like she's having the time of her life.
I was just telling my husband that she looks like someone who is living her dream. It's like a genie asked her what was her greatest wish and she said it was to be a rock guitar Goddess and he made her wish come true.
She pretty much is, which is awesome. 🤘🏼🤘🏼
her and Gojira bass player should start a band!
It's soooooo much fun watching her perform live
Baroness is a great experience live go see em if you get the chance
Everything about Gina Gleason is ringing true and perfect to me: the posturing, the use of a Telecaster, the chops--she is the epitome of rock and roll.
A rarity in this day and age.
I only discovered her 30 minutes ago, and she is my favourite guitar player now. NAY - she is my favourite PERSON now.
Gina is a gem!
Gina is a fucking beast, dude. Love when the oven fell open too...🤣
I just love how much you can tell she is just loving playing this one.
Few things give me a smile like genuine enthusiasm.
@@aguycalled80 you see her do hot for teacher on this same channel? omg...unreal!

im gonna tell her you said that! =D

Gina's expressions make everything better
Right??
🎼Those are nice, but I have to admit, it's her legs that do it for me... 😊
her outfit too
and her kitchen
@@williamepperson3443 her growing so hard makes me so happy
I just always love Gena checking to see if her frozen pizza is done in the middle of the video.
Totally nailed the Danzig Library scene. Love it.
"Welcome to my library."
The VHS section of Danzig talking deserves a fucking Oscar!
"I don't play anything but a Les Paul" - plays a Gibson SG...
Damn Olds, your Danzig is spot on.
Sings Danzig better than Glenn!
Please do an Elvis cover album. It has to be better than Danzigs.
gina checking the oven was my favorite part
I freaking love Gina. But I also love Gwarsenio. That sneaky snakes part got me. Santos's Danzig impression, showing off his evil bookshelf, genius.
3:45
From the Danzig book scene, to the spot on Danzig singing, this is my new favorite thing on youtube
This was the best one yet. Because Santos. Gina was also amazing.
Erik Suvanto this sounds like something santos would say...AWFULLY suspicious
@@officemayhemanthony not self depreciating enough.
Back for the bajillionth time.
Can I just say that Gina Gleason kicks major ass. I love all the covers, but this one is next level. The Danzig imitation is spot on!

Santos has the very best Danzig impression. It goes all the way back to Deserts in your eyes.
Wtf...all these years, i thought it was Nate on "Deserts"
johnnyscifi ya know.... I thought the same. But it was indeed santos
"It's about the duality of the frog and toad condition." This video is fucking priceless.
Please do an entire album of danzig covers. Tremendous..
Is it weird to say I like Gwarsenio doing Danzig more than the actual Danzig?
yes! and thats ok! because it's true.
I love Danzig In his heyday but I have to agree. I lost it at “AW SNEAKY SNAKES”
Y'all were great but Gina stole the show!! Her amazing playing coupled with those awesome faces she makes \,,/, Love her energy
It’s not weird at all because it’s factually accurate.
i was thinking the same as i walked back in the room
Holy shit Gwarsenios Danzig impression is spot on, I know Misftis is his fave band but wow
No one rocks harder than Gina. What a beast!
Gina sneaking a Dime neck slide in Danzig song solo.....approved
This makes me wonder what the weather outside Glenn Danzig's house is like?
Sunny with a high of 75 degrees today
You ever heard of Danzigs bricks in front his house
You can be sure it's raining in his heart.
I just want to know if all those bricks are still out there.
He finally had them removed.
When 2m2 does a cover it’s always amazing. I really appreciate these during the lockdown. More Gina Gleason please! She rules. (I’m so stoked she joined Baroness.)

This is still, absolutely, one of the best bedroom covers!
I barely remembered the original when I found your cover. Cover’s better. Thank you.
i am starting to love this cover more than the og, been coming back daily
Jordan Olds is friggin incredible, dudes
Gina Gleason is amazing!

Amazing cover as usual . Jordan's vox were on POINT. The Santos Danzig impersonation was an amazing bonus.
Santos, Gina, Glennsenio. Winning combo.
Holy sweet asparagus tips that was bonkers good.
I still maintain they built the building around Gwarsenio’s couch. If you told me that was Danzig singing I wouldn’t have doubt it for a second.
