can some one help me with this? I'm making a supercharger and do to the Engine RPM i have a 1:6 ratio and not enough space to make it i was wondering what the planetary set up that may help with that. The Engine drive pully is 12in and the supercharger pully is 2in Id like to make the Engine pull much smaller. if any one what's to help.
I`m into the rc-hobby, and has a 1:10 truck with gears like this. One problem..in reverse , ok on flat ground but slow..upwards it hardly go, seems to be minimum power. The ring gear can`t move like in the video shown. If anyone understand my English (I`m from Norway), and have an idea what i mean..? I`ll be happy for an explonation...thank you..

That was great. Thank you very much for a clear explanation.

.
Beautiful and very precise video!
great video. explained the basics clearly.
Very clear. Thanks for sharing.
fcking amazing. after so long i found a good one
VERY EDUCATIVE .THANK YOU
These would be great with alternator motors where torque is needed for motor mode and high rpm for generator mode.
Awesome Explanation! What Is this Planetary Gear Set Out Of?
What would happen if you only spin sun gear and don't hold ring or planet gear?
If the outer gear ring never moves and is in a fixed part, how is reverse achieved?
THANKS
