This was very helpful. I spent all this time making a "mission" statement with the help of an online article. Then when i went to learn how to do the vision, it seemed like that was actually mission statement i wrote. This video is clearer on the distinction and connection between the two. Both. Vision is the long term goal and mission is the short term goal that moves you along to your vision. Both needs strategies and tactics which drives them to come to fruition.

Objectives are what you hope to achieve to support your mission. Target is an indicator established to determine how successfully you are achieving an objective and goal is an indicator established to determine whether you have achieved your objective.

In my opinion, with a company with many capabilities, the CEO will focus on developing 1 to 2 main capabilities to create the core competencies of the company, and from there the company will have a separate strategy to make a difference. compared to competitors in the market and I call it competitive advantage
