Mentioning that the battery is located in the soap supply was helpful, but, for the first time the battery has gone dead and I don’t know how to replace it. You mentioned button batteries, but not how to remove and what size buttons. Please help.
Great video. Installed mine under 10 minutes. Works perfectly!! 5/5 stars 😉🫧🧴
Help with Purell ES8
Hello,
It is a pleasure to greet your entire team and through this we need help since we have acquired a Purell ES8 and we carry out all the procedures according to the manual and information on your Site, but the green light does not appear. The red one always stays blinking.
What should we do?
Is there a method to change amount dispensed? The delivered amount is to large and portions are being left behind. This encourages people to dip fingers in the leftovers. If all of the dosed product is used it takes too long in a hospital emergency to incorporate product to proceed with care.
there is a problem with these dispensers, after a while in use The light turns red and to make a battery change I suppose that the package that is already connected to wires must be bought, complicates and complicates this product too much.
The Battery is in the body of the Replacement Cartridge - if you have a Replacement Cartridge that is not dispensing it is very likely that the battery has failed. The battery can be replaced by removing it from the Replacement Cartridge and installing a new one. If you use a lot of these cartridges, it is a good idea to remove and hold on to the batteries in case you get a Replacement Cartridge with a bad battery.

Whoever came up with this design shouldn't be working, i don't get this, the product itself is pricy especially when bought in bulk, only to later find out you cannot replace the batteries.
Most annoying brand. Every time I put new refill, it starts giving an error red light. Waste of time and money.
When you are talking about WASTE...environmental wast, and a total waste of money...this product fits right in. Throwaway container (Plastic) throwaway dispensing parts (hard Plastic) and a throwaway nicad or lion battery....What an environmental disgrace! This company should be protested , called out for their irresponsibility to the planet and NO ONE who cares bout our long term health and well being should buy one much less continue polluting with their refills (stupidly priced I might add).
1:30 how do I open the dispenser tho
Push the recessed buttons on either side of the back plate. The front cover will slide down to open access to pumphouse and refill replacement.
Kevin H thank you :)
I use the ES 8 system, and all bottles have a QR or Bar code on the part that is inserted into the dispenser. (Facing the Wall)
I have 3 refills that will not work as well, and it is due to the Refill bottle, and I know this because the electronic part will flash an intermittent red, indicating such.
I did clean the QR Code, and it will still not work in the dispenser.
The expiry dates are also good for another year and so. (12/2025)
Why is this, and do I need to return the 3 bottle to the distributor?
Thank you for all comments and Guidance.

Why pictures? Video demonstration is much better. Im still confused when opening. "push out the locking tab" ?
Hola como le cargo las baterias o como se las retiro
Its's a throw away dispenser. Power pack is internal and the actual battery is in the collar of the soap bottle.
San ES6 ?? Don't work for me didn't hear no click here mabe I just have to change the batteries
How do you change the battery?
Hi, Jason! With the ES8 Dispenser, the battery is attached to the refills. That means every new refill you install comes with enough battery to last for that refill!

Can I use the foam Sanitizer in an ES8 Soap Dispenser? or are they separate machines?
The plastic material used is probably different for soap & sanitizer.
The dispensers are identical. However, a sanitizer refill will not work in a soap dispenser and vice versa. Gojo puts a sensor in the units that senses which refill is inserted. There is, however, a simple workaround to retrofit your ES8 soap dispenser into a universal dispenser (that is, it takes both kinds of refills).
@@puritycontrol2638 Any chance you can share the workaround? We purchased a few ES8 dispensers, however they're for the 'soap', not the 'sanitizer' - it was our mistake. We now have several sanitizer refills and no dispensers (they're out of stock everywhere).
2:35 no refunds
As a in house patient transporter I tried fixing our dispenser. The thing is NOT I repeat NOT intuitive. It’s a over complicated mess. There’s little to no answers online on how to operate and maintain this thing. I miss the can foam. Not a pain in the ass. Although they gave me skin irritation. So I guess they both suck in their own way. Ughh … It’s effing hand sanitizer. We have self driving cars, and not a concrete sanitizer yet? Are you kidding me, society?
Y’all do yourselves a favor, DO NOT get this product. It doesn’t work!
My twin :(
It's crap. It eventually does open. Then you have to break it to open it then put it back together. 💩💩💩💩
this product is GARBAGE
