    As a Canadian living in Montreal, I have been a fan of B&D for many, many years! They were being featured today on the Sirius XM Prime Country channel...probably as a promo for their latest duets release. Thanks for the excellent post...nice to experience great vocals vis the PA feed! Not always the case in most concert videos! Have never seen them live...but this is the next best thing! Great band, very tight! Thx again for this post!

    I read the other day in a new interview that they are close to finishing a record of entirely new music… hopefully That’s What Honky Tonks are For will be on it!! Reboot 2 in just a few week. Super excited

      I just dug out the individual songs and put them all together to make one video of it. I think it's better this way.

      @shapro88 ya idk what is going on there. It's weird for sure. I can't think they did the whole show like that. He did say he was dealing with a cold so who knows.

      Yeah, a little backing tracks when he gets tired is what I understand from the techs.

      @lleroy8929 I went back and looked... it happened here, on ONLY IN AMERICA, and the same thing at the Wichita, KS concert a year earlier, on the same song. But at the Denver show this year, his voice was bad, but it didn't look like they used a track on the song... IDK

    Concert was just over an hour? At today's ticket prices, that's not much....

      There were 2 other opening performers too.

    • @RamblinManMoto
      @RamblinManMoto 14 днів тому

      @ I don’t care about that. Generally, no one is paying to see the opening act. These headliners are now charging prices that have three digits in them and sometimes four per ticket when I saw Zac Brown he played for about 3 1/2 hours. That’s how it ought to be. Just over an hour IS an opening act.

      @@RamblinManMoto Well, I wouldn't pay ten cents to see Zack Brown for 3 hours, and I was happy to buy tickets to this Brooks & Dunn concert, so there ya go. I guess we're both happy, so quit bitching at me.

      Because Ronnie Dunn wasn't making it as a solo artist back in the day, so the record company suggested they team up as a duo, which also helps win awards as a duo, thus making you more marketable. I'm not even sure what a 'duo' really means in country music, you don't see them up there ever as just the two of them. Ronnie is great, but Kix does have some great songs too. Just not the voice like Ronnie, but who does?

    • @RamblinManMoto
      @RamblinManMoto 15 днів тому

      Exactly! He got the easiest gig in Nashville. Sort of like Sugarland. One is great at singing and the other is just...there.

      Because Kix Brooks is the Showman of the two. Ronnie is the voice.
