I am making rugged work pants, the pattern had a set of instructions that I had to pick out the zipper three times. I watched this video over and over again. This video is so practical, no nonsense zipper and french seams made effortlessly. Thanks so much, you've made my life easier, I have a bunch of men needing work pants!

I made a muslin from a pair of jeans I already had and the zipper part gave me fits. I'm going to try this method. It seems to be more simple.

If the fly part of a trouser is long how do l decrease the height .please help
If you would like to decrease the height of the fly, just trim the rise of the pant. Once you do that, the fly attachment will be shorter, which is typical for a woman's pant design. You can see this in the design of men's and woman's pants. men's pants will have a larger cut for the rise while woman's pants will tend to have a shorter cut than a man's.
