Yeah it is super annoying to get it in game, unless you have squid beats. You need to be in ranked and that match needs to go the whole 5 minutes and shellfie/friends list has it's highest chance of playing in splat zones so the odds are really low of hearing the full one if you don''t own squid beats.
@@macemaster5295 i do have all the squid beatz amiibo songs and the full version doesn't play there, just the battle version. i'd guess that means it doesn't play even in long ranked battles either since the full ver has an actual ending, meaning it can't loop.
I'm so happy that they brought our anemone girl into Splatoon 3. She may not be doing music, but she has blessed us with her presence in full 3D. She was arguably the most popular music album cover character, so the devs probably figured it was about time they truly brought her to life.

I remember hearing Shellfie so vividly while watching a trailer for Splatoon on my old 3ds as a kid. That was the first exposure I had to Splatoon as a kid and since then, I’ve been on a mission to find that trailer since I can’t find it on the eshop.
I’ve looked over them like three times but only one of them have a Chirpy Chips song, and it’s Split & Splat. I’m convinced at this point the trailer might be lost to time.😕

i will never not adore chirpy chips I love them so much they are the best band and one of my favourite things about splatoon. when they added the jukebox and i saw it included all chirpy chips tracks i was filled with pure joy, imagine if we got physical releases of the music of every different splatoon band i would actually kill to have a chirpy chips vinyl
It never hit me till now how much Chirpy Chips' music sounds akin to that of Anamanaguchi's music. The chiptunes and the electric guitar backing, you can easily fool someone to thinking this is part of the Scott Pilgrim game OST and little to no one would've blame them.

As someone used to the music selection of Smash Bros & Mario Kart, I looked up “ancho v games theme” to find the song. It took me a while to realize how Splatoon’s song selection works.
My favourite groupe from both games, hope splat3 get them with new songs in a later update. Also that part in "Blitz it!" with no vocals, it's the best thing in splatoon ever!

Each song ties to a rank mode, blitz it is clam blitz, split and splat is tower control, shellfie is splatzones, and wave prism is rainmaker. I tested and it always seems more likely that those songs would play in their Respective modes. And sure different bands songs sometimes popped up, but a different chirpy chips song never played
