@@Liquid_Mike It's kinda sad, but very much true, yeah. Having limitations and obstacles is what leads to innovation. Without them, there is no motivation or incentive to improve. I very strongly believe that music composition and production is more difficult today than it was 100 years ago. 100 years ago, you probably just had your vocals, maybe a guitar, and some pots and pans to bang on. Now, anyone with a computer has access to millions, maybe even billions of different sounds and softwares and synths and sound banks and so on.
That would be really cool if they legit made a daw like this, like all cartooney, but it was like just as powerful as abelton, that would be fucking hilarious, like if teenage engineering made a full fledged daw, something that looks like a toy, buy its like holy shit powerful. Id buy it.
That's the main reason why I kept using Reason it's super colourful .. I tried many times to switch over to Ableton as my main DAW but I always get bored of looking at it
I remember being a little kid and getting my hands on the tab for Slash's Sweet Child O Mine riff and spending an hour putting it into Mario Paint. Good times.
Mario Paint Composer/Advanced Mario Sequencer was my first step into DAWs (well, being generous with the term DAW of course). I remade the first half of the drop to "Nothing" by Virtual Riot and Modestep on Mario Paint. It was probably the most fun I've had on it over the years.
I got mariopaint for my 8th bday, the uh ughhh face and the cat always made for a good laugh. Biggest hold back to old school Mario paint was only being able to place 3 notes at once. You could make some bangers back in 1993 tho
You should check out mario pants, it's a remake of the mario paint music composer, hardware accurate, but with slightly more control and an extended song length
Mario paint got me making beats when I was a kid. Then funk master flex had two editions and I was burning tracks down to cd on one of the first cd recorders that came out. To be able to take that burn down and throw it in my car system and roll out was the best shit ever and still iz. I still got Mario paint stashed away thx for reminding me I need to break that shit out and that funk master flex, you could even drop your own samples into it and came with a pinner ass 🎤 😆
after the first babies u should have made a yoshie as ending for the drop wich leads to a abrupt dubstep break, wich might underlayed by that tomato sound then another yoshi wich might sound as he eats the cat "yoshis curiosity for taste litterally kills the cat) , then mby continue wit that slower cat beat ....^^ (just a idea) ... anyways , a totaler banger ... :D
sometimes being limited to a certain toolset helps creativity
Very true. I swear I made better music when I was stuck with Garageband 😂

This daw definitely gives me alot of classic Mario Paint vibes, even with this daw your audio engineering still surpasses my skills in FL Studio
if im not wrong there was some kind of "song maker" on club penguin, there even was a dubstep option, you should give it a try

no lie, the tracks featuring the baby note definitely gave some TNGHT vibes
I’m still confused why he thought my scuffed predrop was fire
