Just wanna inform you of this, but the person who thought up of all these magical places and the whole story is one person. Not a group of people but one single man. eiichiro oda his name is. He is the mangaka(author) of one piece and his big brain is what created this wonderful story. Im sure he has a review team from the publisher that overlooks the story but ultimately oda is the one who think of it and puts it in the story
@@philiwhop330 editors help with planning and storyboarding each week and some background art but literally 99.9% of the content, characters, dialogue, art, and world building is from 1 man; Eiichiro Oda
Now, let's be completely honest. Oda has a huge sense of respect for his editors and One Piece is filled with content he didn't plan for. The Eleven Supernovas was an idea from his editors for example. Oda is a genius, but a lot from this video is from fillers and movies too which he had limited direction of.
@@TeddyBerry yeah the idea from the editor was "shouldnt luffy have like a rival pirate"and oda said hold my beer and made 11 characters fleshed out ones. Hes been storyboarding one piece since he was child.
One Piece is the most zany fun fictional world I've ever experienced. Someone once described One Piece as: "The Odyssey if it were written by Dr Seuss & Walt Disney". Which is pretty accurate. It's a long and in-depth epic fantasy adventure that also feels like you're watching classic Disney.
I'm pretty sure you watched at least 1 episode after this video it took me two months to finish this anime and I'm not disappointed of it I just wish if there's another 1000 episode to watch
If you looking forward to watch the anime search for One Pace. It is a fans made cut of the anime to be more accurate to the manga and it has no filler arcs and less over extended moments (better pacing in general)
Well there's a few ways to get to Sky Island 1. Take the knock up stream at Jaya Island. It's a natural phenomenon that happens five times a month and involves a gigantic water sprouts shooting you 23,000ft into the air. It's pretty metal and refered to all the all or nothing route because you either get there all in tact or die trying. 2. Kuma the Bear throws you to sky island. Mind you it takes three days to get there. 3. Have a flying model zoan fruit then fly up yourself
Dude, it's a brilliant story and fun adventure. Many great laughs, and many man tears will over the course of a thousand plus episodes. I was hesitant because of the length, but so glad I said fuck it lol. 10/10, peak fiction.
One Piece is a slow going, and it's only when you look back you realize how much and how large the world actually is. I would say it is definitely worth the time. The Anime has its flaws, but its flaws I can often quite easily look past because it means quite little in the grand scheme of things. But if you read mangas, then that is generally a much easier read and you can control the pacing yourself.
you don't have to spend that much time to watch the anime there's a movie for every long arc with better animation but I respect your choice if you won't watch it but you missing alot of good stuff
OP is a masterpiece (manga) you just have to enjoy it with patience. Pay attention to the excentric and unique characters. Everything has a reason... The anime is ok. but I assure that you shall watch a lot of moments epics and awesome. In my opinion - after watching your video, mmm maybe is not for you,but i dont know he . Regards

Just to answer your question: "Yes, the anime that has it's maincarakter literally named Monkey D. Luffy, has monkeys in it."
Dedicate your time to it. It's worthwhile.
