In regards to me doing my homework, I would like state that I have done it and honestly, you don’t need to do much research, to come to your conclusion that these rhythms are design to not only evoke emotions but also certain body movements. This type of music has it own function and purpose, and let me tell you, is not praise a holy God. Sure, you can use the guitar and drums, trumpets and etc, to create pure worship that is focused on praising God, rather than to satisfy the flesh. 1 Peter 1:16 “for it is written: be holy because I am holy.” Hebrews 12:14 “…without holiness no one will see God.”

Did God not create everything that we have? and anything can be corrupt, Sex has been corrupt, are you gonna tell a christian couple that they cant have sex because it doesnt "praise" God? but if sex is used out of the context of which it was created to be, then yes, its corrupt. you should be able to dicern what something makes you feel and what it makes you do. respectfully we have to agree to disagree, i have been debating this for a very long time, i think ive done enough research to defend music at its purest,without using out of context verses to supply my argument.God bless

Ultimately, those verses apply to everything that has to do with how you live your life, how you clothe, what you say, how you treat others, and etc. With these rhythms, you’re taking something inspired by worldly people for worldly people, to supposedly praise a holy God.
