Basaw Lake Peñablanca, Cagayan

𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗮𝘄 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲, 𝗣𝗲ñ𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻
Basaw Lake is 1 of the 7 Lakes of the Province of Cagayan. It measures around 9.80 hectares in the stretch of Sierra Madre.
From Brgy. Cabasan, Peñablanca, you can reach this lake through a 2.5 Kilometer walk, cycling or moto crossing. You can't take a bath in the lake since it's full of mud.
According to researchers, The Lake can be considered as an Eco-Tourism Park. Floral and Faunal Species can also be found here such as the different trees, Palm and other Aquatic Plants. Faunal species such as Birds, Turtles, crabs, shrimps, shellfish and more.
You can visit this place for free, but please make it a place for memories not a place of your wastes.
