I use TSQ almost every day for my personal study of the Qur'an. I'm Albanian and translations in my language are few and not so great. I dream of learning Arabic and doing a translation in my own language Inshaallah. This presentation has helped me a lot.

I own this translation and edition of the Holy Qur’an, and very much enjoy the commentary given on each verse. Each verse! And the commentaries that were consulted and studied in compiling this Study Qur’an-there were a LOT of commentaries, from all traditions and philosophies. This is a tremendous effort and I personally thank each member of the translation and editorial team. May Allah swt reward you amply.
I too own it and enjoy it. The only one thing that I can think of that may not be accurate is the Tasfir in the beginning of Surah 66 The Prohibition. It says the first couple of verses are related to an incident with Mariyah and Hafsah but none of the six authentic collections of the Hadith contain this story. However the story of The Prophet (PBUH) and Zainab and the honey is in many of the books of Hadith.

Whatever is your understanding is only yours & not for anyone else. It is Allah swt Who gives Guidance & Wisdom to whom He Wills & those who seek His Guidance & Wisdom by the Quran Alone. No human can understand the gayeeb of the starting words Aleef, laam, meem. Quran is much deeper is then any taffsir. Interpretation of someone's opinion or understanding of any individual can be closer but the ture meaning had been explained by Rasool'Allah.
