A video by Gustav Tonnesen Additional filming by: Jonathan Lomar Simon Isaksson Jack Thompson Nisse Ingemarsson Tyler Surrey Chris Coleman Nico Tavella
Perfect crew. I always forget they have Nyberg. That kickflip at 5:25 did things to me. Gustav and Simon are like Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller. Funny tricks and editing, style forever. I feel reborn.
Yo this is the first time in a long time where I was actually impressed by a video. Great skating the music choice was a great mood, filming was great. Blew me away a bit actually. Well done
Does anyone know what shoes Tonnesen is wearing in the line from 1:39 to 1:56? Are they the Puig ones? Don't think I've ever seen them in that colorway/pattern
Love the tricks but the VX and music prevent me from giving this a thumbs up. I was a filmer back in the actual VX days and I promise you we would've much rather used today's cell phones given the chance. The dynamic range is so bad on those old cameras.
@@cymbolic_space1832 I guess it's like how in my day people used to use Super 8 video instead of the VX when they wanted an vintage look. You can say you enjoy VX footage, but you can't say you disagree with anything but my first sentence because it's an opinion whereas the others are fact.
@@jasondashney sure! its an aesthetic choice which is ultimately taste, and any vhs digital effect always falls short. but i would like to say that there really is a virute in limitation when it pertains to creativity. often you hear from professional artists and in my experience as well, having limitations, even arbitrary ones, in the way of your creative objective has the ability to push you to innovate and find more profound levels of expression. However having a tool like the iphone certainly does make the ability to even make art more accessible to many more people. but one may also argue that a consequence of more people being able to make art saturates a scene with sub par, amaturish expression that the audience must wade through to find true genius that is worthy of our time.
I want this brand to never die.

Man. Gustav just oozes pure style!
rumour has it he's weightless
