- Follow us as we make the most of early entry for resort guests at Animal Kingdom then head to Disney Springs for lunch at Chicken Guy and a cheeky ice cream from Salt & Straw. After relaxing back at Saratoga Springs we end up back at Disney Springs for dinner at City Works.

We start the day extra early to utilise the early entry for resort guests at Animal Kingdom. The park is looking extra beautiful as the Christmas decorations have started to be installed and Luke and Daisy enjoy dancing to the Christmas/African style music.
As the Kilimanjaro Safari doesn't start until 08:15 a.m. we decide to ride Na'vi River Journey before grabbing some coffees from Creature Comforts. After the safari we decide to ride a classic favourite - Dinosaur in Dinoland U.S.A.
We decide to get the bus to Saratoga and walk to Disney Springs where Keith is still on the look-out for Michael our favourite ferry boat skipper. We have lunch at Chicken Guy which we all agree is very tasty and good value. Luke and Daisy decide to go back to the resort for some pool time and Keith and Tracey share an ice cream from Salt and Straw and walk the alternative route back to the resort past the golf course and through The Turf Club - taking a look in the resort shop on the way.
After some time relaxing in our DVC one-bed villa we walk back to Disney Springs for dinner at City Works where we enjoy the sports bar atmosphere, great service and yummy food.

We are Keith, Tracey, Luke, and Daisy. We have been going on family vacations to Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida for over 17 years. Enjoying every moment of you Lovely Lot! I really appreciate the sign-off with Keith telling everyone to look after each other. Such a small thing, but shows how you all are with each other as a family, and it's lovely to see. Really really having a blast living vicariously through your trips.
Aww thanks so.much. we are so lucky to be so close. I think the sign off came from covid and it just stuck and I really like it too. There's alot of good out in the world

Poor Daisy! I know she is just a tiny little thing, but no adult can sleep comfortably on those fold down beds. She is such an angel. I would have thrown a fit!!

We’ve only eaten at City Works once and loved it. I feel for you guys having to listen to Keeth’s snoring, you should do what I do to my other half, after the third time he gets batted with the pillow 😂.
Love city works too. I feel like my snoring should be appreciated. It let's them know I'm close by and protecting them 🤣🤣
Keith, please consider a sleep consult. I ended up finding out my snoring was connected to sleep apnea. Now that I use a cpap machine, I’m sleeping better…and so is anyone within a one mile radius. Lol

My husband is Puerto Rican and a guava and cheese combo is a thing for him haha! We eat it in something that looks like a samosa sometimes!

Hiya 🤗 Saratoga does look like a lovely resort and whilst not Disney themed the fact it’s close to Disney Springs and the views from there make it a great choice. I’m glad you had a lovely morning at AK and evening at DS - I need to try some ice cream from that place but not sure I’d brave any of the unusual flavours 🫣🩷 xxx
Saratoga is so lovely and the location is incredible. Salt and straw is highly recommended but yeah ild stick to the regular flavours x
