- In the 2017/18 season Liverpool manages to make it to the Final of the Champions League tournament, where they played against Real Madrid. Gareth Bale scored an amazing goal and Karius had some bad moments.

This is the best Liverpool side. Salah, Mane and Firmino were at peak of their powers. Each scored 10 goals in tournament discounting the qualifiers
I think they were the most fun Klopp edition, but the teams that won the PL and CL were clearly better. Better goalie, stronger back 4 and overall balance. This wonderful team almost lost a 5-0 lead to Roma (on agg.) and lost a 3-0 lead to Sevilla. They were fun, but they were also chaotic.
30 goals combined between Salah/Mané/Firmino was absolutely outrageous.

Between 2017-2022 Liverpool has been among top 3 teams in Europe. Along with Real Madrid and man city also being one of the greatest English sides ever. Plus this year 2023-24 danke Klopp.
Although they got better over the following 2 seasons 17/18 Liverpool just hits different
Yesss!!! It was the first season for me which instilled the confidence this team is going to do wonders. Oh, and the counter attack wasn’t too bad either. Just 7-8 players running like madmen during that phase 🔥🔥
This season they are a combination of the 2017-2020 with a better squad and with more experience

Ramos' foul on Salah, and Liverpool's poor backline gave Madrid the trophy. However, The Reds were the best club that year. Goals and lots of goals. Wonder why Salah wasn't given World Best.
Ramos also concussioned Karius. Madrid had favorable calls in all 3 of their CL title wins. Offside goal against Atletico in 2016 as well

Over the years i have seen many, many wonderful goals both team or individuals...but to this day - the 3rd goal against Hoffenheim at Anfield remains the best sequence of football i have ever seen. The whole build up, Wijnaldum's wonderful ball, Sadio with cheeky backheel and Bobby Firmino with overlap sprint from his own half just to make the beautiful chip with his weak foot to the back post. Make me tear up when i see it again!

Top 3 Best Liverpool season by performance so far
1. 17/18 - a lot of players were in their prime in this season. Firmino was so lethal this season
2. 21/22 Salah is absolutely incredible this season along with Jota, Diaz, TAA, Henderson, Ox, etc
3. 19/20 - Firmino, Salah, and Mané were incredible that season
