Pastor Lawson..for years now, every time I would listen to scripture, here at home on my computer...the sound of it was like garlic to a vampire to my roommate, they would wander off to another room and put music on...then I started listening to your sermons, now my roommate sits near and actually listens and asks questions. A true miracle! lol Thank you so much, you have a great gift!

+Laura Wallace, Pastor Lawson's teaching on the Gap theory, and the supposed 'pre-Adamite' world, and so-called 'Lucifer's Flood', are not only not supported by Scripture, but there isn't a shred of scientific evidence to support these compromising, and otherwise braindead ideas of theological heresy.

Um, my blessings come from the Lord, not from false doctrines like the Gap heresy being preached by preachers who know as little science as they do theology.

We are also NOT to have icons representing Jesus Christ.
We do not know what Jesus looked like physically; so any pictorial representation of Him must be false.
Gap therory, as far as some folks are concerned, genuinely can be reckoned from the Bible. Some reckon otherwise and do so just as genuinely from their understanding or the Bible.
How can you justify false representations of Jesus from the Bible when Genesis 20:4 clearly commands against such a thing?
I would reckon it would be a good idea to not to accuse another of heresy (when there is room in the Bible for such speculation) especially when such an accuser is practising something that the Bible clearly condemns.
It is hardly logical (or biblical) to accept the accusations of someone condeming another of an unbiblical belief--especially where it can be open for speculation--where the accuser is practising something that is clearly unbiblical and not open for specualtion.

You're attempting to obfuscate and deflect from the core issue, which is whether or not the supposed *gap* theory is biblical, which it isn't.
Secondly, no one I know who has a picture of Jesus Christ worships that picture as a hraven image. The 1st Commandment in Exodus (not Genesis) 20:3-4 applies to pagan idols.
Get your history and heremeneutics right before we talk again!

I’ve been hearing some say that to believe in the gap theory means you believe that there was a race before Adam, but I do not believe in a race before Adam, yet I can see the gap theory as true. Pastor Lawson is not saying any race was prior to Adam. He said the earth was created pristine! And, like I believe, He believes that Satan fell prior to the creation of Adam, the first man created. So, it’s not inconceivable that the war in Heaven wreaked havoc upon the earth. Therefore, God restored the earth in the time from after Satan fell to when Adam was created...and Satan was jealous and furious that God placed all things in the hands of Adam from naming the animals to giving him a mate. That’s why Satan went after Adam and Eve, because God favored MAN and made him in HIS IMAGE.

Eddy Ekofo He said there's 3 earths? I don't know what bible he's reading, but our's must be different from his.
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the *first* heaven and the *first* earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
If there was a gap, then this verse would have said second instead of first, right?
Matthew 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which *made them* at the *beginning* made them *male and* *female,*
Mat 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
And this male and female was Adam and Eve, and not some pre-Adamic beings, right?

No matter how intelligent the "debunkers" may be or even how scientific they are, I have never seen a legitimate argument against the teaching. It is absolutely Biblically sound. I'm not using this comment to promote my videos (you're by far the better teacher), but I just posted one I taught on this very subject. I'm lovin & likin your wonderful vids. When you talk about that you have to have faith to believe how the earth rotates around the sun and spins on its axis. You are right... you would have to have blind faith in the scientist! The earth is flat. There 200 verses in the KJV Bible that refer to a flat earth with a dome (firmament) over it to divide the waters from the waters and separate the 2nd heaven (where the sun, moon and the stars reside) and the 3rd heaven where God's throne is.

    • @crusher1980
      @crusher1980 3 роки тому +3

The Bible never claims the earth to be flat.
And the Bible clearly tells us what the "FIRMAMENT" is...
(Gen 1:8) "And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day."
      Its simply the first heaven.
And dividing waters is a refernce to the UNIVERSAL flood when even the universe was under water (Gen 1:2). Look up the teaching of Gene Kim about the shape of the universe (Pyramid), there is a "Sea of Glass (water)" before the 3rd heaven.
You also should look up the "Illuminati Card Game" and look up the card "Flat Earthers" but also "Terrorist Nuke (9/11)" or "Charismatic Leader (Trump)" and these cards were printed in the 90s, something to think about.
Even the ancient Greeks already knew that the earth is a sphere by observing the shadow of the earth on the moon. Also even Catholics (NON CHRISTIANS -> NWO) kings used in the past the "Globus Cruciger" showing the earth to be a sphere.
I know which verse you are speculating on in the Bible, lets break it down
(Isa 40:22) "It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:"
      1. If you take a 2D object like a circle into a 3D world it becomes a sphere.
      2. The word circle was commonly used.
      3. A sphere appears as a circle when seen from above
      4. The word in question in "Isa 4:22" in Hebrew can be translated as circle, orb or sphere bcause in the real world 2d objects doesnt exist (copy & paste it into the Google translator)

Remember, there's a third heaven and it existed before Gen 1. It always was and always will be. There's three heavens in the bible. The word heaven in Gen. 1's creation has a dual application: heaven 1 is the sky and further out is heaven 2 which is called outer space. The greater and lesser lights (sun and moon) weren't set in the same place as the sky. The frozen waters above collapsed during Noah's flood and that firmament doesn't exist anymore. The Earth's climate before the flood was far different with a uniform tropical climate worldwide and mists coming out of the ground to water the lands. Rain never fell from the sky until the Flood and after. That was why so many people called Noah crazy when he said "water's going to come down from the sky". "Windows of heaven" means waters that came from above that pathed down I.E. that upper layer of water and ice that came down. The word "windows" is figurative, for the most part.
There's no dome, no flat plane of the Earth and that's why there's no picture or evidence of the edge, not to mention many other scientific and biblical facts that debunk FE. Actually, that FE concept came from the early Catholics and mysticism.

    • @AR15andGOD
      @AR15andGOD Рік тому

What? A cartoon ball? So you both deny that spherical planets, that we can literally see with walmart bought telescopes, and space, which we can see with homemade bottle rockets, are both fake? Ignorant fool, you deny the power of God...... what is "cartoon" about a planet in the universe???? Why would the planets be spherical, but not the planet we live on, when we've literally had the technology to go to space for a long long time? Also, why is there not a single scriptural basis for the flat earth? No, the "firmament" has nothing to do with the flat earth, but refers to the sky above us.... not even the ancient jews or anyone else for that matter who are related to them believe in anything like that.

    • @AR15andGOD
      @AR15andGOD Рік тому +1

Do you believe things fall down because... down? No, it's called gravity. Gravitational effects in a place without gravity leads to the formation of spherical objects, which is why the planets are spherical. This isn't evolution gobbledygook, this is literally established science every single Christian agrees with.

      Psalms 104: 5 isn't a FE reference.
The claim seems to have an underlying assumption that it is impossible to be "fixed" and "immovable" and yet orbit around the sun. But the fact is, the earth has proven itself to be fixed and immovable:
      • The earth is fixed and immovable in relation to its orbit around the sun. Have you ever known the earth to "unfix" itself and "move" itself out of its orbit around the sun? It doesn't happen, because the earth is fixed and immovable in relation to its orbit around the sun.
      • The earth also is fixed and immovable in relation to us. There has never been a single day in which we had no place to stand, because the earth unfixed itself and moved itself out from under our feet.
The earth has always been fixed and immovable, both in relation to us and in relation to its orbit around the sun. In fact we've learned to take it for granted that the sun will shine during the day and that there will ground for us to stand on when we awake in the morning.
Having said that, one should at least consider the possibility that the verses cited above are actually using a figure of speech, to express the permanence of God's will and the permanence of his creation.

+James Graham In Peter, the word there is kosmos in the Greek which would include the sun, moon, and all the other objects in space. In Revelation 21:1 it states the earth and the heaven [space] which would include all the same stuff as in Peter. I don't see a contradiction and how we can read into scripture and say there was a 3rd earth. We do know this and it is very telling to me. The unsaved attack the story of the flood, Noah's Ark, what we see in geology as not being caused by the flood of Noah and so on. They do not mock as Peter said they would do in the last days about some pre-adamic race. Actually, they have never heard such a teaching as 90% or more of Christians have not even heard of the Gap Theory and would not have if it wasn't for the internet, youtube, and some of Christian TV.The question should be that if Peter said they would mock something in the last days, what is it that they are mocking and does it line up with historical teaching on the subject? It isn't the fallen angles thing or Nephilim teachings that have exploded over the last 10 years in Christendom. They actually think it is really a cool and in-thing to believe that. Many of the movies and TV programs today are promoting those same teachings. No mocking is going on except with the flood of Noah happening 4,400 years ago [as the Bible dates in its genealogies] and they are trying to explain away God's judgment and reinterpret the geological column through their doctrine of uniformitariainism even though none of it makes any sense. We know the column is a total lie as all Chordata are in the lowest layer of the column in the Cambrian Explosion. We've known this for decades now.On another subject, Jesus gave us about 50 signs to look for at His coming and not one time did He mention the return of the Nephilim in His discourse. some, with a really big stretch of the imagination, take the phrase "..as in the days of Noah..." but they totally ignore what Jesus meant by that with His explanation of that verse right there in the context. I am okay with people's opinions but this stuff is being taught as doctrine adn if one has to read between the lines, it should never be considered doctrine. I'm not saying God isn't going to allow an end time deception to those who heard the gospel before He allows it so I am open-minded to a fake alien invasion or some other weird thing happening. The military is always at least 30 years ahead in technology than what we are told so UFO's don't phase me one iota or Project Blue Beam or any of the other stuff that we just know a little about. I've had a few dreams where I saw technology that is just know being shown a little of.My take on it. Have a good one. :?D

There is only one earth ! The earth during creation is the same earth as today, but "different" in is state of "formation" .The Spirit of God was in a process of creation when He was "moving" over the earth. Is there a gap? or a process in creating?
We are in "the creation in the beginning" so this state of "tohu" doesn't mean sin but chaos.Chaos look like sin,but it's not sin if it's a process of making something from point a to point b.To start a doctrine call Gap theory with the word"tohu" appear to me as a big assumption.
Now the future "earth and heaven" to come won't be a material world at all !
The temporal world will disappear ,the "old men" the old things the old everything will disappear ,the universe, the space-time will collide ,the stars will fall and this will disappear by the coming of God in all his glory, who will gather (by angel) all his elects IN HIM.This is the New realm, the eternity with God,God Himself is the house and the elects have room in Him.The New creation is IN GOD.The Elects themselves are a New Creation,we are RESURRECTED and we live in the kingdom call Jesus Christ,we reign with Him presently.
At the coming of Christ,at the end of this temporal world we will RESURRECTED IN THE BODY OF CHRIST. Christ who transform Himself at the sight of his disciples, into his glorious, spiritual, eternal body.He was entering in ALL HIS GLORY,sitting in the throne of this Glory.
Paul talking about the resurrection said that we will have Spiritual body.......

So sad to see "Christians" being so unloving to one another ...especially over spiritual matters that only the Spirit can reveal to each of us in His own special way so that all may understand how to work out their own Salvation. Everything else is trivial. We can try to explain things as we come to understand them and discuss them having love and compassion for each other with out discouraging and trying to hurt each other. We are to lift each other up. Judge and you will be judged in the same manner. God help us all. Much love and many blessings to all that seek to live their lives as Christ not only instructed us to live but also lived himself as a perfect example for us to follow.

Well most Christians in a church really aren't Christians they want to be Christian but God says you'll know a real Christian by the love in their heart that love is displayed in time that we give to hurting hopeless people God tells us to go in the jails help and volunteering more homeless people help widows old women in nursing homes help orphans you don't see hardly any any Christians going out in the city giving their time showing that they have the love of Christ in their art I'm out here in the city and there's only a few very few in the entire city of Monroe Christian's twelve thousand of them gather Sunday mornings and sing Hallelujah Jesus and they won't volunteer one lousy hour of their time to help people we have homeless veterans in the Salvation Army we have three different homeless shelters we have a Crisis Pregnancy Center two of them and you can't get any volunteers to go give their time so most people in churches aren't Christians most of those people aren't going to heaven because if they were they would be filled with the love of Jesus and you would see them volunteering giving their time every week helping people that's a real Christian real Christians love people and they're out in the community we volunteer with gay people transgender people homeless people elderly women and we help men and women break the cycle of drug addiction jail prison so they can go back to being parents to their children oh you'll know we are Christians because they will have Works acts of love to go with the face because faith without works is dead if all people do is go to church and work every week that's not a Christian

Nagelpunk I know this is 2yrs old but I just came across this video. I have become so sickened by this. There's one thing to correct one another in love because iron sharpens iron but the cruelty on UA-cam amongst Believers is astonishing. They/we argue over the most ridiculous things. How are we to bring non believers into the Body of Christ with such tarnished Testimonies. Non believers & weak Christians read our comments, watch us & listen to us. We are held accountable for our hasty unthought out actions. We try to force others to "think like me or I'm going to pitch a fit". It shows immaturity in Christian growth and no leadership skills. No fruit. We need to pray for one another to increase the Holy Spirit among the Body and to remove this arrogance and pride issue that is rising up. We have work to do.

I have an old man (the one within my flesh that desires to sin and existed before I was born again), I have a current man (the born again man within me that was given life when I repented of my sins and accepted Jesus as my Saviour), and I have a future man (the man I will be when Jesus takes me up and changes my corrupt nature into an incorruptable nature). Does this mean that I am 3 separate persons, or does it mean that I am the same person being transformed and changed? Obviously I am one person that has been transformed and will be transformed when Jesus takes me up with him. The gap theory is a false teaching that lends credence to the false teachings of evolution.
One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever. Ecclesiastes 1:4

After listening first to this message a year ago, I just re-listened to what Pastor Lawson so well taught from "the word of the Lord".
Personally, I find that which he teaches to be very thought provoking and Biblically based teaching about what "the words of the LORD" actually say - AND it is certainly not in accordance with the teachings and traditions of men!
I personally was a 'young earth' believer for many years - but "the Lord God Almighty" prepared me to be able to grow - and has answered a question that I've thought about off and on for a number of years - when did Lucifer fall. Now "by faith", I have more Biblical understanding of the meaning of more of the words that are written in "the scripture of truth", the Holy Bible [KJV].
ALL 'Biblical CHRISTians' should pray often, sincerely, and fervently - and give thanks unto "the only wise God" for giving those fewer and fewer who really want to hear such a Biblically sound Pastor-Preacher-Teacher as Pastor Lawson - and a few others - in these increasingly 'spiritually dark' 'end-of-the-end times' in which we are living - RIGHT NOW !
    - AND - It should always be remembered that there are fewer and ever-fewer Biblically sound Preachers and Teachers worldwide that faithfully Preach and Teach "the truth" from "the word of God"
    - for there are more and more that are 'wolves in sheep's clothing' in these days of exponentially increasing 'spiritual delusion and confusion':
"Her prophets are light and treacherous persons:
her priests have polluted the sanctuary,
they have done violence to the law."
    (Zepheniah 3:4 ~ KJB)
    - AND - That there are ever fewer and fewer truly truly Biblically "born again" "believeth" followers of "the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" worldwide that have “an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear” "the words of truth":
[11] ¶ Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land,
not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water,
but of hearing the words of the LORD:
[12] And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east,
they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD,
    and shall not find it.
[13] In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.
    [14] They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth;
    and, The manner of Beer-sheba liveth;
even they shall fall, and never rise up again.
    (Amos, Chapter 8 ~ KJB)

No way Peter is referring to the flood of Noah. The flood of Noah had absolutely NO affect on the heavens above. Clearly when Peter said "The heavens were of old" he was referring to the celestial bodies above. What in the world does "the heavens were of old" have to do with Noah's flood? And notice he said the Earth was STANDING IN the water and OUT of the waters. He doesn't say the Earth was COVERED with water but STANDING IN and OUT of the water. First Peter makes reference to the heavens as being OLD and then he describes the Earth as STANDING in and out of the water. It is so clear to me that he is describing Genesis 1:2 and not Noah's flood. Also I noticed on the second day of RESTORATION when God finished cleaning up the watery mess He never called it GOOD. All the other days are called GOOD but not the SECOND day. The Jews read the scriptures forwards and backwards about the coming of their Messiah. They thought they knew exactly what He would be like and what He would accomplish. But they were dead wrong! They thought they had properly interpreted the scriptures correctly but they did not. It was only after the Messiah appeared then the scriptures were fully understood. The same is true when it comes to Christians. For too long they have held on to the belief that the Earth was only a little over 6 thousand years. They have read Genesis forwards and backwards thinking they have the proper understanding of what Genesis is saying about creation. But just Christians in the past were wrong about the Sun revolving around the Earth, so are they wrong about the age of the Earth. Science has shown us the facts. And the FACT is we have misinterpret the Genesis account of creation. It is our misinterpretation that has led us astray from the facts. Science shows that the Earth is very old but Peter already told us that. We ignore Peter and pushed our own narrative. Science does not contradict the Bible it only contradicts our interpretation of the Bible. This earth and the whole universe is very, very old. Young Earth Creation narrative is false. The Gap teaching is sound Biblical Doctrine that makes perfect sense

2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
2Pe 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
2Pe 3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
TYPOLOGY: Noah preaching for 120 years without one convert.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
verse 4: Question one: When was the beginning of Creation?
Jesus said 23 to 27 times refers back to Genesis chapters 1 to 11. never does he quote out of Enoch or any other non-canonized books that I am aware of.
verse 5: Question two: How can man be "willingly ignorant" of something like a Gap Theory that no one could possibly know about [no historical records] and this teaching didn't exist until around the mid-1800's because men doubted the Bible and taught a geological column that doesn't exist? The matter only got worse when people didn't trust their Bibles and bought into Darwin's theory. Darwin didn't even believe his theory as much as some Christians do today. he wrote about all kinds of doubts he had.there are no missing links for if there was they wouldn't try to pass off hoaxes and things like X-women [half a finger bone] as a missing link or just real recently, a lower jaw as another missing link.
One can be "willingly ignorant" if Peter is talking about the flood of Noah because there is now over 300+ cultures that wrote about a worldwide flood that match the Noah story pretty well and is the very thing the atheist of today says didnt' happen. I eat evolutionary atheists for lunch almost every day and know that I know that these people are the ones Peter is talking about. Notice what he says and prophecies about them [atheists]. It's in the same chapter.
2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
Notice the "last days" reference. Noah's Flood and Evolutionary teaching [both Darwinian and New Age spiritual evolution] are what Satan is pushing against this world.
Question three: Death before sin? If you have a Gap Theory, you have death before sin.
the Bible tells us to not be ignorant of the devil's devices and we just need to see what weapons he is using to deceive with and then many other truths will come out.
I say all this while I actually have a hard copy of the book of enoch on the way. Not saying I know it all but after about 10 years and thousands of hours of study in creation versus evolution teaching, the Bible stands true and we don't need any of these weird doctrines to fill in gaps.
I encourage you to check out arrivalofthefittest.com and slaves4christ on youtube. There are 1,000's of free creation downloads that blow away evolutionary teaching. there are some videos on the Gap Theory also. There are many, many problems with the Gap Theory. I used to believe it until I saw what the other side brought forth. Even the Big Bang is a total silly brainwashing teaching of the New World Order. Everything came from nothing. They choose the one theory on why we see redshift out of at least 4 theories on the subject because it is the only one that allows for a big bang. The big bang is what? Order out of chaos. Some of this stuff is right out in front of us. They use this same technique called the Hegalian Dialect to bring about the New World Order which is using order out of chaos, race-baiting, economic failures, etc.
      Got to run. God Bless!

      thesacredcowtipper Hi,
I respectfully disagree. I believe the Re-creation Interpretation best explains Gen. 1 and 2, as well as ALL of Scripture.
      1) Re "Question One", Jesus (and the NT writers) referred to Adam and Eve, but NOT to the timing of the creation, or re-creation as I understand it, of the Earth.
The Bible never says how old the Earth is. Committed Christians have arrived at some very different interpretations on how old the Earth is, and how to understand Genesis 1.
      2) Re "Question Two", and your statement, "Gap Theory that no one could possibly know about [no historical records] and this teaching didn't exist until around the mid-1800's because men doubted the Bible and taught a geological column that doesn't exist? ":
The Re-creation Interpretation, or Gap Theory, was taught by many of the rabbis BEFORE Christ was born - because they were very thorough and precise in examining the Hebrew. Other rabbis taught this
So it is NOT a reaction, in the 1800s, to evolution theories - which I thoroughly REJECT, for both Biblical and scientific reasons - I also REJECT "theistic evolution". Nor is it an attempt to explain dinosaurs. Also, you may be referring to the writings of Rev. Thomas Chalmers - but he wrote about this theory in the EARLY 1800s. and he died in 1847, 12 years BEFORE Darwin's first book was published.
This view is, IMHO, the only interpretation of the creation of the Earth, as stated in Gen. 1, that fits ALL of Scripture.
This includes an explanation for how the heavens and the Earth were created (bara implies "made from nothing, in perfection and complete") in Gen. 1:1, but in Gen. 1:2 the Earth "was" (hayah is better translated "BECAME", as in Gen. 19:26. "Lot's wife BECAME a pillar of salt") "without form" (tohu means "waste, desolation, empty, worthless") and "void" (bohu means "a ruin, emptiness"), also "darkness" (choshek means "darkness, misery, DESTRUCTION, DEATH"). A time-gap of some unstated length, between 1:1 and 1:2, however long or short it may have been, also provides a timeframe for when Lucifer rebelled against God, becoming satan, and deceiving a third of the angels into joining in his rebellion; this war explains the resulting chaos and destruction that is described in Gen. 1:2 - and how satan is ALREADY the deceiver BEFORE he enters the Garden in Gen. 3.
There are other Biblical reasons for believing the Re-creation Interpretation, but for brevity this should be sufficient.
      3) Re "Question Three": This argument, "there was no death before sin, so there could not have been a Gap, with death, before the sin in the Garden", is human reasoning, ADDING to Scripture. Yes, before the sin in the Garden, there was no death afflicted on the present human race, from Adam and Eve until today; no death either spiritual (on the day Adam and Eve sinned) or physical (which eventually happened, as a consequence of the curse on them and the Earth, as a result of their sin). But it is an immense stretch of extra-biblical ratiocination to use this specious argument to try to preclude any possible interpretation that would encompass a gap between Gen. 1:1 and 1:2.
      4) Re "the Big Bang": numerous sciences agree that the universe began in an instant, and there was NOTHING before that moment. But these sciences also demonstrate that there was INCREDIBLE PRECISION in the beginning of the universe. The beginning - with all the laws that govern the universe, which are necessary for life to even be possible - could be described as, NOT "order out of chaos" as you said, but "life began in the first moment, with infinitely designed laws, planned and executed by the Designer and Creator of the universe."
Regarding the fine-tuning of the laws of the universe,
“This now tells us how precise the Creator’s aim must have
been, namely, to an accuracy of one part in 1010123. This is an extraordinary figure. One could not possibly even write the number
down.” Roger Penrose, The Emperor’s New Mind
As Dr. Frank Turek has said, "I'm not afraid of the Big Bang. I just know Who banged it!"
      5) SO, the Re-creation Interpretation, again IMHO, best fits ALL of Scripture, and explains the divergent interpretations of committed Christians, some of whom believe in a Young Earth, while others believe in an Old Earth. I believe in both, because the Re-creation Interpretation fits with the Bible AND both the interpretations of Young Earth and Old Earth.
      6) Whether you believe in the Young Earth Interpretation, the Old Earth Interpretation, or both (the Re-creation Interpretation, which encompasses both), please do NOT denigrate other believers because you disagree on this non-essential issue (a doctrine which is not essential to salvation). The essentials are beliefs which are necessary for salvation, to become a converted Christian. "In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty (allow other believers the liberty to hold a different interpretation than you do on any non-essential issue), in all things charity, or love." IF you disagree, please do so in the love of Christ.

phil144000 Hi Phil! Wow Phil! I met someone who writes long responses just as long as mine. I don't know if that is good or bad. LOL.
      :?D
I respect your view. I believed the same thing at one time.
Can I tackle one at a time to show you how I came to this conclusion starting with your question 1 and then so on?
Keep in mind I was taught the Gap Theory when I was newly saved and never questioned it but something inside me said something wasn't right about it. I would have never believed it in the least bit by reading the Bible. The Bible is very clear on what it says which I can get into that. The Gap Theory was never believed by the early church fathers. This is a very new belief that is only about 150 to 200 years old. This belief came out at the time of Darwinian evolution and when Charles Lyle [a lawyer-not scientist wrote Principles of Geology], before Darwin, started to say the earth was older than what they thought. Lyle's book heavily influenced Darwin who also was not a scientist and Darwin, a Bible seminary student, lost his faith.
It seems to me that since this belief is very young, that is was because Christians couldnt' disprove Darwin's theory so tried to find something in the Bible that no one ever taught or believed ever in the history fo the church nor in Israel before the church.
We can tackle the three things that people use to try to say everything is very old and this is what is need for the Big Bang, DArwinian evolution, and the Gap Theory.
      1 Geological column
      2 radiometric dating
      3. distant starlight
All three of these things have been tackled already by hundreds of Creationist scientists hands down. Most fields of science have actually been started by creationists, Christians and deists - not atheists and agnostics. Nobody can deny intelligent design anymore so that leaves the choice, who made this universe-was it the God of the Bible, Lucifer, or panspermia [we were seeded here by aliens which of course doesn't answer the question who made them].
As far as Frank Turek goes, I can see why he says that. He does many debates at colleges so he seems to have chosen to stay clear of that subject in order to stay on subject of the gospel and why Christianity is valid. Some guys do that.
The Big Bang is based on the expansion of the universe and redshift. There are at least FOUR theories on redshift, the Big Bangers choose the one theory because it is the only theory that will fit their model. Most people don't even know of the other 3 or so theories. Chaos never creates order. Go outside and light a stick of dynamite. The Bible actually explains the stretching of the universe and WHERE it started which does explain why WE see redshift.
Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Pastor Lawson, Hagee and others say there are THREE earths. As you can see at the end of the millenial reign of Christ, the Bible teaches Christ is ready to make the 2nd earth. There are no 3 earths. They have added this to scripture to fit the Gap Theory teaching instead of trusting God's Word. The Bible plainly doesn't teach that nor does science prove that. False science as the apostle Peter called it even 1,900 years ago. You are probably familiar with the dozens of recent discoveries of blood vessels and collagen found in dinosaur skin still "in tact". They won't mention this stuff on Discovery, Nova, or any of the other propaganda evolutionary TV shows as it gives them a huge problem if the earth is old. They are hiding so much stuff from people [from dino skin, to giant human skeletons found, etc.] because this is THE deception Satan is going to use to get those to follow him. Darwinian evolution along with New Age spirituality [spiritual evolution] are the two things being propagated on the earth for the last 100 to 200 years. We can see Satan's plan right before us.
Well, where do you want to start with this? I guess I said too much in my response already. Pick one of your questions and we can start with that. Let's start with one question at a time. I have hundreds of articles on the creation/evolution thing. I probably have already answered the question. I have one problem though. My computer is not very organized right now.
God Bless and I hope we can have a respectful conversation on this that we both can grow from.
      Bob

Hi, thanks for your respectful reply.
      1) Committed believers should not bash each other over a non-essential issue, which this is - but such bashing often happens. As one Christian commenter said, Christians often converse politely with unbelievers, as we should, to try to persuade them to trust in Christ. (Of course only the Holy Spirit can convict and save anyone, but we are commanded to speak His truths, in love, announcing the Good News to the lost.) However, some Christians attack other Christians as much or more than unbelievers attack us; and they often think they are doing God’s work by attacking others.
      2) You are free to believe whatever interpretation on Gen. 1 and 2 that you are persuaded is correct, because it is a non-essential. So am I.
      3) The teaching of a re-creation interpretation is NOT “150-200 years old”. As I said, it was NOT formulated in reaction to evolution, because it was taught long before any theories of evolution were proposed. I suggest that you are unaware of the true history of this view:
      www.custance.org/Library/WFANDV/chap1.html
      www.petahtikvah.com/Articles/GAPTHEORY.htm
Even if this view was as recent as you claimed, the issue is not how long this view has been taught, but whether it is a view that is consistent with Scripture. I believe it is not only consistent with Scripture, but among the various interpretations on creation and the age of the Earth, I believe the re-creation interpretation is the MOST consistent with ALL of Scripture.
      4) You stated, “at the end of the millenial reign of Christ, the Bible
teaches Christ is ready to make the 2nd earth.” However, the
Scripture does NOT say “SECOND Earth”, anywhere. In Rev. 21:1, the future Earth is called the kainos (“new”, “fresh”; therefore, ALWAYS new! Glory to Jesus!) Earth, while the present Earth is called the protos (“foremost in order”, or “former”; protos is the superlative of pro, which means “prior” or “fore”) Earth. The protos (former) Earth will pass away when it is purified by fire (2 Pet. 3:7, 10-13) and the kainos (always new and fresh) Earth (and the kainos Jerusalem) will be the eternal home of believers, with God forever! Praise the Lord, now and forever!
I searched carefully, and I could not find ANY reference in Scripture to the New Earth being the “2nd” Earth, as you claimed. I believe that the translation of protos as the “first” Earth is incorrect; it SHOULD be the “FORMER” Earth, in comparison to the kainos “New” Earth. So, translating this present Earth as the “first” Earth is both wrong and misleading to you and others. In Rev. 21:4, the CORRECT translation is
used, in referring to the protos things (this present Earth) as the “FORMER things”. This is borne out in the Murdock translation of Rev. 21:1 and 21:4, CORRECTLY translating protos as “former”
in BOTH verses (emphasis is mine):
(Rev 21:1) And I saw new heavens, and a new earth: for the [protos] former heaven and the [protos] former earth had passed away: and the sea was no more.(Rev 21:2) And I saw the holy city, the New Jerusalem, descending from God out of heaven, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.(Rev 21:3) And I heard a great voice from heaven, which said: Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men; and he dwelleth with them: they will be his people; and God will be with them, a God to them.(Rev 21:4) And every tear will be wiped from their eyes; and there will no more be death, nor mourning, nor wailing; nor shall pain be any more; because the [protos] former things are passed away.
      5) It appears we are both firmly convinced of our individual and divergent views on this, and further dialog on this would be unfruitful. So, may the Lord guide each of us, day by day, into a more perfect understanding of His Word, and make us more like Christ, to His glory (2 Cor. 3:17-18). May the Lord bless you in every way HE knows you need.

phil144000 Wow. giving me too much to read at one time. I will check out the articles but give me time for I am a very busy man.
Let's first tackle the verse in REvelation that I brought up.
You seem to be favoring only part of the verse to fit the Gap Theory and ignoring the rest. When I said it was the SECOND earth that is because it says "the FIRST earth" plainly. Remember the 55 scholars that put our Bible together were fluent in several languages and knew exactly what the original and early church fathers taught. The word SECOND may not be their but the word first is there and when something is first, the next thing in line is ALWAYS the second. So let's look at the Koine greek word their for first.
It is protos. Protos is where we get their word prototype. Here is Strong's definition for the word first. I do not use the Nestle-Aland Greek text because the Life Letters that Westcott and Hort wrote to one another, they admitted to corrupting that particular greek text which almost all other English translation are written from. One of the major reasons why I became KJB-only.
      G4413
      πρῶτος
      prōtos
      pro'-tos
Contracted superlative of G4253; foremost (in time, place, order or importance): - before, beginning, best, chief (-est), first (of all), former.
There will need to be a new earth because man has destroyed this one. God's going to have to melt it with fervent heat to purify it. I'm not an enviromentalist by any means but nothing I hate more to go to a trout fishing spot and see people's litter all over God's beautiful creation.
Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
Saying a new earth doesn't take away from protos [first] earth hence, meaning second.
I will tackle more of what you sent. Just give me some time.
In the meantime, are you familiar with the RATE project?

    How old is the earth?
    I don't know.
What I do know is that it has been about 6,000 years since Adam was made by God.
I discovered that for myself in 1975 when I read Genesis chapters 5 and 6.
I used some graph paper and a pencil and laid out the numbers
given to us and saw that it was about 1,000 years from the making of Adam
until the birth of Noah. Adam lived 930 years and Noah was born not long after that.
And the numbers show that Abraham was born about 1,000 years after Noah.
So from Adam to Abraham was about 2,000 years.
Almost any encyclopedia will show the time of Abraham to be around 2,000 years
    before Christ.
And we are now about 2,000 years after Christ.
So from Abraham to now has been about 4000 years.
Add the 2,000 from Adam to Abraham to the 4000 since Abraham
    and that is 6000 years.
That is more important to me than how old the earth or the universe is.
BECAUSE - it shows me that God has a 7,000 year plan.
I'll explain more if you want me to.

....short answer - the end of the Millennium
God gave us the pattern in Genesis
6 days of work followed by a day of rest
Day 7 is a day of rest
So 6,000 years of God working His plan
      of salvation for mankind
      followed by
      1,000 years of rest
it is the Sabbath of rest
the day of rest that remains for God's people
It has many names or descriptions
      the 7th day
      the day of rest
      the Sabbath day
      the millennium
      the Lord's DAY
      the DAY of Christ
      etc...
Days 5 and 6 are the ' Church days'
(the Church Age, the Age of Grace)
It started when the Christian church began
after Jesus rose from the dead
      in about 33 a.d.
It will last about 2,000 years.
We are nearing, or at the end of
      the Church Age now.
      More details if you request.

Here is the basic 7 day plan I believe God has
(each day - or age - is 1,000 yrs)
      DAY 1 ADAM
      DAY 2 NOAH
      DAY 3 ABRAHAM
      DAY 4 DAVID
      DAY 5 CHURCH AGE
      DAY 6 CHURCH AGE
DAY 7 LORD'S DAY - also called, Sabbath day, day of Christ,
      the Kingdom Age, the Millennium
The Church Age began at Pentecost after Christ rose from the dead.
We are near the end of the Church Age. It has been almost 2,000 years
      since Pentecost ( 2 days).

I'm really torn. To me the flat earth makes more sense biblically speaking and if you take into account the book of Enoch. I'm not a flat earther but it would not surprise me if it was flat. I try to rule out the flat earth but when I see the Bible speak of foundations of earth. cornerstone of earth, the crystal sea. A flat earth with a dome makes the pieces fit together easier biblically speaking. So to me the question is does the Bible speak toward a flat earth and if you say No can you biblically rule it out? I say no. If the earth was flat what kind of brilliant lie would it be for Satan to pull off to convince us its a globe? I wouldn't put it past the father of lies right? How could you explain biblically the corners of the earth and the foundation of it with a globe model?

    • @JensenSarpy
      @JensenSarpy Рік тому

Enoch is not inspired and that's why it's not part of the 66 books. Also, the word heaven in Genesis has a dual application. It's talking about the first and second heaven. Outer space is the second heaven and the sky is the first heaven even though it doesn't say heaven 1 or 2 or first or second. After studying and learning more and more of the bible you'll notice those dual applications of words and also verses and what's figurative and literal. For example, you'll see verses that say "the stars of heaven" that's the 2nd heaven - outer space or the ether. Then there's verses that say "the fowls that fly in heaven". That's the 1st heaven - or the sky. There's also a verse that says "he was taken up to the third heaven". The third heaven always was and always will be and is only accessible in the spirit.
There's other misunderstood verses like Psalms 104: 5 and the like that talk about foundations of the earth or other words like immovable, unshakable and this is the explanation of those verses:

    • @JensenSarpy
      @JensenSarpy Рік тому

Cornerstone and corners of the earth is figurative. It's like us today still say "we'll do this or that all the way to the ends of the earth" or "it will be felt or broadcasted to the four corners of the globe or earth". Also, when you see "windows of heaven" windows is also figurative because it says the windows of heaven opened and the rain fell during the Flood. Then in Malachi 3: 10 KJV "windows of heaven" is mentioned again but it's not talking about water but instead it's referencing blessings to Israel from God. Without knowing all this, it's no wonder that people get into the flat Earth mentality and it's because they don't yet understand the bible's lingo with what's figurative, in context or not, what has a dual application and what's literal. It takes a lot of studying to decipher it all but eventually it fleshes itself out.
The "dome" was really the layer of frozen water that was above the waters below (the Seas) in Genesis 1. That frozen water aloft was all around the Earth and was called the firmament and created a firmament (expanse) between it and the surface of the Earth. It kept the Earth a uniform tropical climate and allowed man to live 900 years and animals to grow much larger because of more oxygen and the atmosphere had twice the pressure then. It was what collapsed and rained down creating the worldwide flood in Noah's time. After the flood onward to today and counting, there's a lighter atmosphere and less oxygen, hence why we live 90% shorter lives and animals are smaller and we have seasons like winter, summer, etc. Before the flood it never rained and mists/fountains came up from the ground and watered the lands.
I hope all this helps if you're still not sure 5 years later.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, [H8414] and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
    The first thing we want to note is the fact that God did not created the earth WITHOUT FORM AND VOID for it says so in the following scripture;
Isa 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, [H8414] he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else
    So, the earth was not created H8414 תֹּהוּ tohuw or in vain, worthless, right? So how did it become like that? Moreover, we can see that the word “was” in verse two is;
    H1961 הָיָה hayah (haw-yaw) v.
    1. to exist.
    2. to be or become.
We can therefore, concluded that the Word “was” could have easily been translated BECOME OR BECAME. So, we can read the verse Gen 1:2 And the earth became without form, [H8414] and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep”, which agrees with Isaiah 45:18

The second world, the one we live in today, is "reserved for fire" (verse 7).

I've studied topics such as Apologetics, Systematic Theology, Hermeneutics, Biblical Languages [Hebrew and Greek] and know more "Bible" than probably 90% of self-professed "Believers" do. Having said that, your incorrect eisegesis (what you're erroneously reading into Scripture) is maligning the intended context of the Word of God, which is NO GAP, and an earth less than 10K years old, in favor of man's false doctrines (millions of yrs and a GAP).
"The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine..." ~ 2 Thes 4:3
(( to know because you keep insisting the earth was formed out of water in Noah's flood))
NO! I keep insisting that as 2 Peter 3:5-7 lets us know, that it was the "world that then was" (Antediluvian - Pre-Flood) that God completely obliterated with water, while this world will be destroyed by fire [2 Peter 3:7]

(Exodus 20:11) "For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."
Six days, six thousand years ago as designated by the geneologies.
(Mark 10:6) " But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female."
The beginning is when Adam and Eve were made. From these two scriptures we know how old the Earth is. The Gap Theory is as dangerous as evolution.

  • @calvinclemons030
    @calvinclemons030 10 років тому +13

While I agree with "most" all of Ps. Lawson's sermons, this gap theory is not Biblical whatsoever. Here's the proof. Romans 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned" If one says there was a race of men before Adam. That puts death before sin and therefore makes the aforementioned Scripture a lie! This faslehood was perpetrated upon the church by C.I. Scofield and John Nelson Darby who came before him because men of God could not account for the so-called geological column which exists nowhere on earth, except on a chart. I won't even go into the dispensational beliefs which aslo exist nowhere in Scripture, but only on man-made charts. The fossil record which can now be accounted for by Bible believing archeology, was Satan's subtle tool in these deceptions. It's simple. Three earths. But most importantly we must remember the very first verse of Scripture, Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Beginning means beginning. This lays the foundation for the entirety of KJB Scripture. And we know what happens if the foundations be destroyed. What can the righteous do? Also, if all Scripture is to be taken literally when pertaining to creation, why is Gen 1:1-2 treated as relative, while all the others mentioned in this sermon are concrete?
Pre-flood earth (destroyed), Genesis 6:6-7 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
The present earth (still here, but reserved in judgment for fire)), Genesis 8:15-19 15 ¶ And God spake unto Noah, saying, 16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee. 17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. 18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him: 19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.
Future earth (yet to come) Isaiah 65:17 ¶ For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Also as it is written: Revelation 21:1-5 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And lastly, as it is written: 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. We know this shall be be just after or at The Great White Throne Judgment of Almighty God. Simplicity in The Word which is Jesus Christ. I hope and pray you do not think I'm in a mess because of disagreeing with the gap "theory". It's just that I can find no Scriptural basis for it whatsoever throughout The KJB.
God Bless you Ps. Lawson. Although we disagree on this non-salvation related doctrine, I still love, and am blessed mightily by your sermons you brother.

For millennia, theologians believed a verse from Psalm 19 meant that the sun revolved around the Earth. Then came Galileo. 2 Peter 3 may indeed refer to the flood, but don't be so self-assured.

I think the controversial issue is whether there were humans, like Adam, before the Genesis 1:2 fixing the voided earth. Some teach there were, but as pointed out below, that can be problematic. Before the 'gap' seemed the time of the Angelic rebellion, which caused the perfection of 1:1 to end, and darkness to fall, fixed by "Let there be light."

Finally, someone who can understand the deeper truths of the Worr and rightly dividing that from which is hurtful and that which is profitable. God bless you, brother, there’s so much more but what I’ve startled to realize is to put Jesus first in all things before we look to our own lives, because when we do, we are as Peter when he walked on the Sea or Gailee when his attention and life was focused on Jesus and his life and comparing ourselves to him, but when he looked to his own feet he sunk. I’m only 25 and a far cry from what God expects of me, but I honestly believe that if it weren’t for my paternal grandparents and Pastor Lawson, Jack Hyles, Charles Spurgeon and Lester Roloff, and other men of God firstly Jesus, that I would be dead or in prison. Coming from a man that used to seek death but was to vain to bring it upon himself and willingly wanting to defy god and become his own, it’s amazing in hindsight realizing how his hand was upon my life from a young age and I just want to connect with brothers and sisters and do what we are called to according to the word of god, do the fathers will, believe in him who he has sent and to let him try the reigns of our hearts and be the masters of our lives, I’m far from perfect and have come to look at myself as dung, but now I know that I am not of my own and that my ways are innerant and false, I know that he is my only hope for salvation, health, a better future, good job, happy family, it will only come if we put Christ first and this is something I need like some of you may, so this is the pide playing the piper just like Peter, Paul, John, Isaiah, Jude, Job who all realized that the only good in them is what he added to them. Amen 🙏🏼

When it says the earth was void, it's referring to the fact that the earth was without form. It literally says in genesis 1 that that is when God created, created the earth. As in it did not exist prior. When it says let there be light, it is referring to the creation of light and therefore darkness. This isn't some big conspiracy theory where God is a massive liar who isn't clear at all in His text.

The Gap "theory" (more appropriately called the Gap Heresy) is an attempt by some in the Christian community, mainly those who are ignorant of sound science, and properly interpreted biblical hermeneutics, to make the Word of God, which is infallible, and clearly teaches a YOUNG Earth (of less than 10K years), with the fallible hypotheses of spiritually unregenerated men, who believe in evolution and the accompanying false idea of 'deep time' (billions of supposed years).
This kind of absence of good scientific knowledge in the Body of Christ, leads people who are generally scientifically and theologically illiterate (except for what their pastors tell them) into grossly misunderstanding what the Word of God clearly says about Creation, which is that less than 10K years ago, God created the heavens and the earth, completely, and without an imaginary 'gap', in 6 literal 24 hour days (Hebrew yom clearly used in the context of Genesis 1 teaches this fact). The end result is tragic, as it makes bad apologists out of ordinary Christians, who are commanded to give biblically sound (and factually/scientifically coherent) answers to skeptics and spiritual truth seekers (as I was a 14 year old, who heard this heretical nonsense, and immediately recognized that it was nothing more than a pseudo-theological compromise to evolutionary thinking.)

+Tyler, the Body of Christ is (unfortunately) already divided (i.e. all of the denominations)! That is why we must, as His children, obey His command to STUDY IN-DEPTH for ourselves, "rightly dividing the Word of truth...showing ourselves as workmen approved." And on the backside of that, Christians need to find good, solid Churches that preach & honor the Word of God as literal truth!

    1. Charles has many good teachings; but regrettably, this is not one of them. And "YES", the issue matters greatly; it is very important. The "Gap Theory" challenges the veracity of God's word. Do we believe God's word EXACTLY as it is written? All through the bible there were those who believed God's word exactly as it is (Joshua and Caleb) and those who didn't (the ten spies and the children of Israel who followed them), among many others.
    2. Satan/Lucifer did NOT fall before Day Six of Creation. And God saw EVERY THING that he had made, and, behold, it was VERY GOOD. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Gen 1:31)
    a. Therefore, Satan had NOT fallen yet - on Day Six.
    b. Sin had not been introduced into the world yet. (Rom 5:12)
    c. There was NO DEATH before Adam (Rom 5:12 and 14). So, there were not millions of dead creatures under Adam's feet from a previous flood.
    d. God judged Adam, Eve, and the Serpent ALL at the SAME TIME.
    3. The flood of II Peter chapter 3 is indeed the flood of Noah.
    a. The phrase "of old" simply means that it wasn't infant - it was created in a fully MATURE state by THE WORD OF GOD - just like Adam was created a fully mature man and not an infant.
    b. The scoffers are willingly ignorant of this fact that everything was created, and that it was created fully mature. And they are ignorant of the fact that God destroyed the earth in the worldwide flood of Noah.
    4. There are many words in the bible that don't mean today what they meant when it was written. But, we can't apply our definitions today to those words. Instead, we must learn what they meant at the time and apply THAT definition in our "study". That's how we learn. "Replenish" simply meant "to fill"; and it STILL means "to fill" by alternative definitions in some dictionaries.
    5. All of the talk about Lucifer being King of the Earth BEFORE ADAM had dominion, and losing his crown and losing his kingdom and having the earth destroyed in a pre-adamic flood is ADDING to the word of God what is NOT written in the text. God's word is pure, and perfect, and complete. Take heed: "Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." (Prov 30:6)
    6. None of the verses tabled support the "Gap Theory".
    a. Ps 148:4 is talking about water above the heavens. Yes, certainly there were/are waters above the heavens. That doesn't prove that Peter Pan is real or that the Gap Theory is real.
    b. the phrase "the deep" ALWAYS pertains to water ON the earth, "under" the heavens, "beneath" the heavens, to where one must "descend".
    c. The fact that God created the earth to be inhabited - and that he didn't 'create it in a state of chaos' - does not in any prove the Gap Theory. Although God could have created everything instantly - or over millions of years - he didn't. He took SIX literal 24 hour days to "create" everything - including "the heaven and the earth". So, (in those six days) he created the earth to be inhabited - and it was, just like the text states.
    7. The anonymous man to whom Charles refers about Noah's flood is a scoffer. That man does not believe God's word that God brought enough water from the heavens and from the deep to cover the mountains on the earth at the time by 15 cubits. But, we bible believers do believe it; and I encourage Charles to believe it too. Charles also alludes here to more water being needed to divide the continents. His comments appear to be a misunderstanding of what happened in the days of Peleg - when the earth was divided (The idea of "Pangea" is NOT a biblical idea" - and it is not supported by logic or science either.)
    8. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (I Thess 5:21) Answers (at) Berean Research Institute (dot) com

bereanresearch No my friend the Gap Theory does not challenge the veracity of God's Word. Rather, it challenges your interpretation of God's Word. There is a difference.
      1) Can you explain to me why God did not call the 2nd day "Good?"
      2) You assume that Satan was apart of that creation process from Genesis 1:3, 11. That is YOUR interpretation. But Satan was not apart of that process. He was already in existence when the Lord first created the Heaven and the Earth in Genesis 1:1. God said the angels were singing for joy as they witnessed God's creative power. Lucifer was among them.
      a. Lucifer fell before Genesis 1:3. The Lord warns Adam about death because it had already manifested itself. The result of death was revealed in Genesis 1:2. For before the Lord ever speaks a word the earth already exists in a chaotic condition. There is darkness and desolation. Water already exists. Darkness in the Bible always represents, death, sin, evil, judgment, blindness.
      b. Adam's newly created world was pristine on the surface. But under Adam's feet, entombed and hidden in the rocks of the planet, was the buried fossil record - God's material testimony to the truth of the existence of a previous "world" on the face of the Earth and a long reign of death across ancient ages past, long before the new world of Adam
      3) 2Peter is NOT referring to Noah's flood. Again this is your interpretation. But I do not hold to your views on this matter. I believe he is describing Genesis 1:2.
      a. Noah's flood had absolutely NO affect on the heavens above.b. The 'heavens were of old' and the "heavens and the earth which are now" are two different scenarios.
      4) God reestablished or restored the Earth in 6 literal 24 hour days.
      5) When the Lord finished the Scriptures says "These are the generations (PLURAL) of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens," a) Genesis1:1 was the first generationb) Starting from Genesis 1:3 is the second Generation.
      6) When God judged in the garden He only cursed two things...the ground and the serpent. The creature that allowed Satan to use its body, but He did not curse Satan. The serpent was a physical creature. It allowed Satan to have access to its body. God cursed it and took its legs away. But Satan was already a fallen creature. God simply told him that the seed of the woman would crush his head. And the fact that Satan was attempting to get the woman to sin only proves that Satan was already a evil creature. Your interpretation is cloudy because you are saying they all sinned together and were all judged at the same time. But it makes no sense. There were 4 creatures in the garden that day not 3. Adam, Eve, the serpent and Satan. Satan's goal was to get mankind to sin against God. He succeeded. But you are saying God rewarded him by giving him control over the planet and over mankind. Even though he was the instigator and had fallen into sin on the same day as Adam? That makes no sense at all.
The scripture tells believers to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling. In other words I am responsible for my own spiritual growth in the Lord. Ultimately I will have to stand before the Lord Jesus and give an account. I have read the scriptures and have come to a different conclusion than you concerning the circumstances surrounding the creation of heaven and earth. I will not have to answer to you or any other YEC. Nor does the scripture say we have to believe God created the Earth 6 thousand years ago or 2 billion years ago. The requirement is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and to live holy In His sight. To bear fruit by the Spirit and to glorify the Lord Jesus. To love fellow believers and to be a witness before nonbelievers. To be ready for His return and to pray daily. To forgive those who trespass against us. To give to the poor and needy. Those are the most important requirements the Lord demands that we fulfill. Everything else is secondary. Including this debate about the Gap. Let me give you an example of secondary issues: Tell me. What is your opinion about the fall of Adam?
1 Why did Satan tempt the woman instead of the man?
2 Was Satan implying that God was lying to her about the tree?
3 Why did the woman add the words "neither shall you touch it?"
4 Was the woman and the man really trying to obtain a higher form of consciousness apart from God?
There is nothing evil about the Gap Theory. It does not deny The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It does not deny Christ's deity. Does not deny the Trinity. It does not deny His second coming. It doesn't deny living holy before the Lord. Does not deny that Jesus is the only way to the Father. Does not deny the work of the Holy Spirit. Does not deny that God created all things. Does not accept the theory of evolution. Does not deny 6 literal 24 hour days. Does not deny Adam's sin. Does not deny the existence of a devil. But what it does do is question YEC interpretation of Genesis1 There is nothing evil about that.

      1. Yes, my friend, the Gap Theory DOES challenge the veracity of God's Word. Thou dost err not knowing the scriptures.
      2. You say that my comments are merely ‘my interpretation’ of scripture, and you have your own views. But God says, “Do not interpretations belong to God?” (Gen 40:8) They are not “yours” or “mine”. So, let’s continue to see what God says (perhaps you should review the verses I already quoted which prove my points).
      a. You say that I merely ‘assume that Satan was a part of that creation’. But God himself said, “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and ALL the host of them.” (Gen 2;1) “ALL the host” includes Satan.
      b. Again, you say that ‘Satan was not part of that creation’. But God said, “For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is” (Ex 20:11; 31:17) “ALL that in them is” includes Satan.
      c. By the way, God did not call ANY day “good”. So, your question about the second day doesn’t make much sense. There are many things God “didn’t say”, and we can’t make doctrines around what he “didn’t say”. But, what he DID say at the end of his six days of creating was that, “God saw EVERY THING that he had made, and, behold, it was VERY GOOD.” (Gen 1:31) EVERY THING includes Satan.
      d. If you still disagree, you need to more than simply assert that Satan existed before the first day, and you need to quote scriptures that say he did - as I have quoted scriptures that say he was created amongst the “ALL” and "host” and “EVERY THING” that was created within the six days.
      3. Yes, Job 38:7 says that the sons of God shouted for joy when the cornerstone of the earth was laid. That is perfectly consistent with YEC (your term). God created heaven on the first day and obviously created the sons of God among the “host” of heaven on that first day, before creating the earth. It is no wonder that they shouted for joy. Neither in this verse nor in any other does it say that any of the “host” of heaven, or “sons of God” or any “thing” else existed BEFORE Gen 1:1. When the bible is silent, we can’t make doctrines out of that silence like you are doing. He said that he made “ALL” the host and “EVERY THING” and “ALL that in them is” during the SIX days. We need to believe what he said, and not what he didn’t say.
      4. You say that “Lucifer fell before Gen 1:3”, but you have no scripture that says so. That is pure speculation. None of the writers of scripture mentioned a previous civilization or the pre-existence of Lucifer. And, for centuries later, no Christian writer mentions these doctrines. These are only recent speculations, originated by Thomas Chalmers, advanced by Clarence Larkin, and popularized by Finis Dake - all to appease the apprehension that some might feel as a result of supposedly scientific evidence for millions of years. But there is NO scientific evidence for millions of years.
      5. The so-called “fossil-record” doesn’t prove millions of years; it proves the flood (of Noah). Do some study. Read at least the scientific portions of my review of geologist Robert Howie’s book: www.bereanresearchinstitute.com/05_Other_Issues/OTH.0051_01_Creation_-_Evolution_Robert_Howie_Geologist_Mike_Wright_Book_Review.html
      6. You say that 2 Peter is NOT referring to Noah's flood and that he is describing Genesis 1:2. But, Gen 1:2 doesn’t say anything about a “flood”. Talk about speculation and mere interpretation. You are completely reading into the text what isn’t there.
      7. Gen 1:2 says that the earth “was” without form, and void. You and others have to read it as “became” without form, and void in order to make Gap Theory work. That is wrong to do. God expects us to believe what he said. He said “was”; not “became”.
      8. You say that “Noah's flood had absolutely NO affect on the heavens above.” Well, the windows of heaven were opened and it rained for forty days and forty nights. But, I won’t argue with you about that point right now. I just want you to think for a minute. If God destroyed the earth in a pre-adamic, Luciferian flood, then why did he have to re-create light, the sun, the moon, and the stars on day 4? Did he destroy the Sun, moon and stars at the same time as the Luciferian flood? And, if so, why didn’t he have to re-create the earth in the same way, for the same reason?
      9. You say that “The 'heavens were of old' and the ‘heavens and the earth which are now’ are two different scenarios.” You think (like Charles Lawson said in the video) that there are THREE earths. But God said there are only two. The “heavens and the earth which are now” is in contrast to the new heaven and new earth that shall be. “I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away” (Rev 21:1)
      10. Read that again, “THE FIRST heaven and the FIRST earth were passed away.” (Rev 21:1)
      11. That verse alone proves you and Charles Lawson to be in error on this whole matter, regardless of whatever reading INTO the text you do.
      12. You say that “Satan was already a fallen creature” when he was in the garden. But, you have no scripture saying that, and I already quoted God as having said that EVERYTHING was very good. (Gen 1:31).
      13. You say that God “did not curse Satan” in the garden, and that he “only cursed…the ground and the serpent.” But God calls that serpent “Satan”, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world” (Rev 12:9) and “And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,” (Rev 20:2)”
      14. I am not saying that God “rewarded” Satan by giving him control over the earth. The fact that he is the god of this world is indisputable. (II Cor 4:4) God knows what he is doing, and the serpent, the Devil, Satan, shall end up in the lake of fire for what he has done.
      15. You have correctly said that you don’t have to answer to me or to any other YEC (your term). I am simply warning Charles Lawson and all who may follow him that the Gap Theory is an unscriptural teaching that is not true.
      16. You have correctly said that the “requirement is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ”, but, in this, you don’t. The word became flesh - that’s the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 1:1,14)
      a. Jesus, the word, says that the serpent is Satan (Rev 12:9; 20:2). But, you don’t believe that.
      b. Jesus, the word, says that “ALL the host of them” [heaven and earth], including Satan, was created in six days (Gen 1:31). But, you don’t believe that.
      c. Jesus, the word, says that “ALL that in them is”, including Satan, was created in six days. (Ex 20:11; 31:17). But, you don’t believe that.
      d. Jesus, the word, says that God created the heaven and the earth on the first day. (Gen 1:1-5) But, you don’t believe that.
      e. In all of these matters - and many more - you believe what MEN have inserted into the word of God, including a gap after Gen 1:1, when nowhere does the text say so.
      17. When you believe what Jesus, the word, DIDN’T say and you DON’T believe what he/it does say, then yes, you DO have a problem with the “requirement” to “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ”
      18. You ask and I answer “What is your opinion about the fall of Adam?” “Why did Satan tempt the woman instead of the man?
      a. Because the woman is the weaker vessel (I Pet 3:7) and was deceived, whereas Adam was not deceived (I Tim 2:14).
“Was Satan implying that God was lying to her about the tree?”
      b. Satan blatantly stated, “Ye shall NOT surely die” when God had said that they would. (Gen 3:4)
“Why did the woman add the words "neither shall you touch it?”
      c. We don’t know “why”. We know that she did. In fact, she actually said, “neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die” - which raises a couple more points than you are already alluding to. It also brings to mind the fact that she ADDED to the words of God, as you are ADDING to the words of God with the Gap Theory - and all that falls out from it. I would warn you “Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” (Prov 30:6)
“Was the woman and the man really trying to obtain a higher form of consciousness apart from God?”
      d. What we know is that the serpent told her, “God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” and “when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.” (Gen 3:6)
      19. You can list all the things that Gap Theory does NOT supposedly deny, but the truth plus anything is not the truth. And the Gap Theory is not truth. Whether it affects your salvation or not - or the little ones whom you influence, the Lord shall decide, but - because we live by EVERY word that proceedeth from the mouth of God - I would recommend that you dump Thomas Chalmer’s Gap Theory and stick with the words of scripture instead.

Proponents of Young Earth Creationism, who hold to the belief that the planet Earth is only about 6000 years old, preach that the vast sedimentary deposits of the Earth's crust were deposited during Noah's flood, and that all the fossils found within that strata are the result of creatures that died during that flood. The Scriptures, the Earth's geology, and a little reasoning expose the fallacy of that false belief system.
The Bible says that the Earth's mountains are very, very old:
"And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills,"
      (Deu 33:15 KJV)
When Noah's flood occurred, the Scriptures say the waters of the flood covered the tops of the mountains, so the present-day mountains already existed:
"And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that [were] under the whole heaven, were covered. Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered."
      (Gen 7:18-20 KJV)
Geologic Fact: Portions of most of the Earth's mountain ranges are composed of sedimentary strata or metamorphosed sediments which contain fossils (the evidence of living creatures long since dead and buried). Three examples are the Appalachian mountain range of the eastern United States (one of the older ones), the Alps of Europe and the Himalayas (one of the younger ones). The sedimentary layers that were uplifted to form these great mountain ranges are many thousands of feet thick in places and well above sea level today. In many places, especially in the older Appalachian range, angular unconformities abound, showing where ancient sediments have been tilted and partially eroded, with newer more horizontal sediments being deposited atop the tilted erosion contact surface.
Diagram illustrating cross-cutting relations in geology. These relations can be used to give structures a relative age.
      Explanations: A - folded rock strata cut by a thrust fault; B - large intrusion (cutting through A);
      C - erosional angular unconformity (cutting off A & B) on which rock strata were deposited;
      D - volcanic dyke (cutting through A, B & C); E - even younger rock strata (overlying C & D); F - normal fault (cutting through A, B, C & E).
If these mountains existed before Noah's flood (which the Bible says they did), and these mountains were formed from uplifted sediments containing fossils (go climb a mountain and see them with your own eyes), then the creatures that these fossils came from all died sometime long BEFORE the great flood.
In the Appalachian mountain range, you can drive down Interstate highway I-64 from the West Virginia/Kentucky border eastward into Virginia and see deep road cuts exposing repeating sequences of coal, sandstone, siltstone, shale, coal again, shale, etc. The presence of neat, multiple seams of coal in the sequence indicates periods of time when the surface of the land was above sea level, allowing vegetation to flourish, die, and accumulate.
The sequences of sandstone, shale, siltstone and the like indicate submerged or delta associated deposits. Because it takes vegetation time to grow, die and accumulate, you can be sure that these kinds of alternating coal/rock sequences, which contain coal seams ranging from inches to several feet thick, required many, many years to form. (Coal is formed from the remains of trees and ferns.)
According to the Bible, Noah's flood only lasted one year; therefore, it is impossible for these strata to have been formed by the single global flood event. These formations are orderly and well differentiated, which is uncharacteristic of deposits left by rapid flooding. In many locations, these sequences which originally formed in a horizontal position are now tilted at various angles; some are now vertical and others have been found to be turned upside down. The tectonic processes to accomplish this require millions of years. You can be sure it occurred long before Noah's days, not during a one-year flood
Further, if you take the time and effort to calculate the amount of carbon in the coal that has already been mined on the Earth, and couple it with known deposits that have yet to be mined, there is no possible way that the amount of vegetation required to make that much coal could have been growing on the face of the Earth during any single year.
It takes great pressures and long periods of time for sediments to compact and cement into very hard rock. There was insufficient time in a one-year flood period to produce the massive sedimentary deposits of the Appalachians, to say nothing about the differentiation of all the sedimentary layers. And here is another show-stopper: Whatever materials and debris may have been left on the land after the waters of Noah's flood receded would have been quickly eroded away by rains in a few brief years following the flood. THAT is why there is no remaining widespread physical surface evidence of a world-wide flood today. And if the "fountains" of Noah's flood were mid-oceanic geysers on a massive scale, you will learn that there would have been very little sediment load in the flood waters outside of what was washed down from the mountains of the land areas during the 40 days and nights of torrential rains.
      Picture from: tesla.jcu.edu.au
Petroleum (oil) is a complex mixture of hydrocarbons which occurs in many places in the upper strata (sedimentary rock layers) of the Earth's crust. In some instances petroleum seeps to the surface. The La Brea Tar Pits of southern California are an excellent example of such an occurrence. If the sedimentary rocks which contain the petroleum were formed by Noah's flood, where did Noah get the bitumen he used to seal the joints of the Ark to make it waterproof, BEFORE the flood?
"Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch."
      (Genesis 6:14 KJV)
The English word "pitch" is from the Hebrew word "kopher" which is bitumen, an asphalt-like form of petroleum.
Speaking of the formation of hydrocarbons like petroleum, here is another interesting fact that the Young Earth Creationists' theories on Noah's flood cannot address: If you add up all of the fossil fuels (coal, natural gas, and oil) consumed on the earth since 1751 A.D. (roughly the start of the Industrial Revolution), human beings have burned an amount of fossil fuels equal to that which would have required all the plants growing on the Earth over a time span of at least 13,300 years.
Source: Discover Magazine April 2004, page 11, "What's in a Gallon of Gas?"
Conclusion: When you honestly think through all these considerations, it becomes quite clear that the fossils of the Earth's sedimentary rock layers have been there a long, long time. Those creatures were dead and buried, and the strata was already present on the planet when we find the Earth void and without form at Genesis chapter 1, verse 2. No other interpretation meets all the criteria of truth. Are we saying that Noah's global flood did not happen? No! What we are saying is that the Earth's sedimentary rocks were not made by Noah's flood and are NOT the evidence of Noah's flood.

bereanresearch 1) No it challenges you and everyone else's interpretation of the Genesis account. The Gap does not challenge the veracity of God's word because IT IS IN GOD'S WORD.
      2) Genesis 40:8 has nothing to do with interpreting God's WORD. But it has everything to do with interpreting a man's personal dream. Joseph's comment sounded admirable and true from our perspective. No man had insight into Pharaoh's dream. So Joseph spoke about the Lord being able to interpret it.
But since it was God Himself that gave Pharaoh his dream there was no need for God to interpret it. Besides, God knows all things. Even the thought and motives of all men. Instead He needed to REVEAL the meaning of the dream to Joseph, not interpret it. God has already given us His Word.
And He has give us the responsibility to STUDY and to make OURSELVES approved so that WE might know how to rightly divide the Word of Truth. And as WE Study His Word and WE work out OUR OWN salvation with fear and trembling WE will be held responsible for how WE interpret His Word. Of course we rely on the Holy Spirit to help us. But we all have different opinions on certain doctrines. Some doctrines are clearer than others.

bereanresearch You are also misrepresenting my views on the Earth. Right now there is only ONE Earth that has going through different chances. Just as a New building gets old over time and might need refurbishing. Or a house that may have been damaged and needs repair. There are new materials that may be added but it is THE SAME HOUSE. The Earth from the "heavens of old" and the Earth "which is now" IS THE SAME EARTH. But if you completely knock down a building or house and start all over again from scratch. Now you have A NEW BUILDING and a NEW HOUSE.

Hmm, I wonder why, in the modern era with planes, satellites, ships, etc., there hasn't been one jot or tittle of evidence or a picture of the edge? I'll tell you why. The bible has dual applications of words and verses, there's a lot of figurative words used like immovable, unshaken, foundations, pillars, windows of heaven (windows is figurative there) and of course, there's literal. It takes a LOT of studying to know what is or not and for it to all flesh itself out. Here's one example talking about Psalms 104 KJV:
Having said that, one should at least consider the possibility that the verses cited above are actually using a figure of speech, to express the permanence of God's will and the permanence of his creation.

    bereanresearch & Asa Lee ........
In all of this debate between you two I have come to the conclusion that you are more concerned about being right than sharing the gospel.
    What difference does any of this make if;
    A. We admit we are sinners and fall short of the glory of God.
    B. Believe that Christ is Lord and was resurrected on the 3rd day from the tomb.
    C. Confess with our mouth that we believe these things to be true and that we are truly sorrowful for our sins and sinful nature, thus wanting to turn away from them,
    WE WILL HAVE SALVATION!
When you stand at your judgement will you be able to be proud that you were right, or ashamed you were wrong? NO!
Will you be able to explain how these prideful debates brought souls to Christ? NO
Will you be proud of the seeds of confusion these long winded debates provided? NO
It’s as simple as I stated above ABC!
Yes, once saved stay in The Word, Yes search out truth in scripture, but concern yourself with the greatest commandments of placing nothing or no one above our God by loving Him with all our strength, and heart and soul. Then LOVE your neighbor as Christ has loved you by understanding, giving, and most importantly forgiving them as you were forgiven!

Great teacher! Respectfully disagree with GAP but I do appreciate your attitude toward those who subscribe to YEC. Rev 21 "first" earth - 3 earths contradicts or else Bible would have said "second" earth - Lucifer fell before Adam fell for sure but he was created (as EVERYTHING was) in the account of Genesis 1 yet he was in "Eden" the garden of God before he fell which was clearly part of the original six 24 hour days of creation - the second heaven is surrounded by water but sputnik (or anything else for that mater) has never even come remotely close to approaching that deep on which the throne sits on the frozen side. Heaven of "Old" is tied directly to the previous chapter 2 with the clear connection of "old" earth and as in Noah - 2 Peter 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah.

The Bible States also that Satan Walked In The Garden of Eatin until iniquity was found in him. According to the Bible then Satan walked in the garden for a period of time before he fell. If he was in the garden of Eden until his fall and the Garden of Eden wasn't created until the day 6 of The Creation in Genesis then how could he Satan have fallen and the Earth be created void after the first day and before the second day of creation? The Bible clearly states in Genesis that the Garden of Eden was created on day 6 how could the Earth have been made void after the first day because of Satan's fall when the garden was not even made until day 6? This makes no sense at all is anybody following this?

I didn't understand what that he said welcome back until i learned more about the bible that is not taught in churches. It makes all the unknown known like dinosaurs and ancient cave drawings or technology and cities under the ocean. What is misunderstood is the words not being translated correctly if you take words and compare it to Hebrew or Greek and you get a different meaning. Does the same people that dont believe in giants and fallen angels mating with the women on earth giving birth to giants and that aliens really are the spirits of the giants who died during the flood, that today are terrorizing people today.

There is no perfect translation, because there is no way to bring a text fully from one culture to another, one language to another, one person to another.

If this was the first sermon of his that I listened to, I would have never listened again, he really twisted the word of God. Where in Hebrews 2 does it say Adam got a crown? God's creation was perfect till Adam sinned and God put a curse on it, the flood destroyed the first earth, we live on the current after the flood, and look forward to the new heaven and earth. If my view of God's word is incorrect, explain it to me, I don't have all the answers or know all things, to say so is to be ignorant. Always in my prayers, God bless!
