I agree with you on some things. You have a very great mindset and I commend you for that. But one thing you don't get is that many people in Ghana also do things just for the sake of survival.
I have many colleagues who pursued some career pathways just for survival.
The world is becoming increasingly tough and most of the things we do now are for survival's sake.

Please travelling abroad is not just about money. So please leave those who want to travel to travel and don't condemn travelling. Its a personal choice. Stay in Ghana if you want to.
    1. When you travel, it really opens your eyes to the other world. You get to experience wonderful cultures and appreciate other ways of life.
    Your quality of life increases
    2. You get to breathe proper air and not dust .
    3. Walk on better roads
    3. Experience a better system
    Etc
Have gained a lot from travelling. I never regret travelling

At 42 min, what u mentioned is called “career building” in America or in some western countries. In our schools we taught to read, write & memorization. We shd emphasize vocational skills or training rather than the current education system. I have worked as an electronics, systems & finally software engineer be4 retiring about fifteen years ago in America. I am currently retired but operating a consulting business on a part-time basis. The goal of the youth is to work hard ardently to acquire skills. Life’s journey is a marathon not a 100 meter dash. As the Chinese say a journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step. There are no short cuts. Start small in any venture that u dream of.
