Just started a new job and moved to a new city where I know one person, and it’s so hard! People talk about how hard life after college can be when you’re in your early 20s, but I feel like we don’t truly normalize how lonely and isolating it can feel. Constantly reminding myself that, while having the space to change and grow is a privilege, it’s still okay to acknowledge how difficult it is.
This is so well put!! The loneliness is HARD. Proud of us for figuring it out and working to know ourselves so well. We have to make the most out of this time in our lives ❤️

Im turning 22 next June and I'm graduating a year or two earlier than all my friends in May. Hearing you talk ab graduation and ur grad party made everything so real for me. I didn't get a highschool graduation bc of COVID and now I'm graduating again but without any of my friends. I don't know if I'll stay here after school and I'm scared of the changes that are coming. It's hard to explain this to my friends who will all have each other after I graduate, but this video gave me a little bit of comfort to look forward to the future.

as I was heading into my final year of grad school and just about to move into an apartment with my partner, my best friend from college announced her move across the country to Cali. Change is SO hard and SO awesome at the same time. Such a rollercoaster of emotions during these seasons of life when it feels like everything is being pulled from under you, even when it is something great. You are totally right to cry it out and share your feelings with your friends - it helps you acknowledge the feels and then move on :) I'm also in a weird limbo where I'm deciding whether to stay where I am living currently or move house - there are a lot of things up in the air I'm waiting on and everyone is stressed about the cost of living and the UK interest rates going crazy :( just feels like such a stressful time. Life update: I decided to defer law school in Aug and just moved to a new city to spend the year and I do know people in the area but this is my first time leaving home since college, and I am very excited but like it's a big change! I am trying to embrace every moment but also know that feeling my feelings makes me more human
Well, I’m 24 years old, from Puerto Rico and this is my last semester of college. Right now I’m feeling really lonely most of the time, mostly all my friends have graduated already. I have my parents an hour away from me but I can’t see them all the time and it makes me a little sad sometimes but then I feel blessed that I still have them really close by so that helps. Right now I’m having money troubles because I can’t find a job and it feels really frustrating not being in your normal way were you can just go out and do whatever. But all through it all, I feel like I’m learning how to manage my money better and somehow it makes me feel better. Also I’m learning to have a lot of patience so yei! At the beginning of this year I felt that this last semester was going to be so lonely and boring but not really. It turns out I’m having really beautiful connections with friends and good times! So for everyone out there who is also passing through a difficult time, believe that everything will change for the better and good things WILL happen, just be patient. I'm currently feeling very overwhelmed with my studies, because I'm trying to graduate next summer but there is SO much stuff to do, and most of it is self-study with very few actual classes and little structure. And then this weekend I'll have a dance tournament all weekend, which will be great but very tiring and, let's be real, a quite high chance of coming back with covid.. So I'm also preparing mentally and practically for distancing from my partner for a week. So that's my rant! I hope you're doing well and that you get the test results you're happy with :)
For the past few days, I've been with my parents in my new city while they were helping to move me in my college dorm and they just left, and while I was soooo confident that I was taking the right decision not staying in my hometown, I just went on google maps and scan every single street of it while bawling my eyes out

Your Today Question is always interesting~ Currently, I'm planning to apply for a boot camp to become a software engineer in the future. I enjoy learning computer related stuff like coding and hope I'll be able to enter the offline course. Then I'll need to move out since the educational center is not located in my city. Btw, it's natural to cry when your best friend moves out :) I'm a man but I also cried two times in a row when I left for my home country, Korea because I really relished every life moment during my stay in America. Your country was beautiful and inspiring to me and I don't still forget that. Maybe it's why I still watch a bunch of different American youtubers to learn more about your country in general :)

After using uworld twice and failing, I never knew I could ever pass the NCLEX but today I am very happy, I just passed my NCLEX on my third attempt with a great help for Mrs Catherina..

I'm in my senior year of college and turning 22 at the end of this month, and I feel so unstable and uncertain of my future. Just for reference, I'm a Nutritional Science and Research major pursuing an accelerated Masters (and later hopefully Med School for Pediatrics). I just feel like everything in my life is slipping at the moment, and I can't seem to catch my breath. Because of this, I just feel so disconnected with my ambition & passion which I feel like is just perpetuating the cycle... Definitely a big period of change with everyone planning to go in different directions. I want to make the most out of my senior year, but I also need to prioritize school so it's really been hard to juggle. If anyone has any words of wisdom/ advice, please send it my way~ lol just had a cry sesh over this so I feel very heard
I feel this so much. It’s the classic senior year struggle that all have to experience and few discuss. Sending you the best vibes. Take time to hang out with the people you love each day to make memories and give yourself something to look forward to as you navigate this time. Things do have a funny way of working out when someone as hard working as yourself has set yourself up on this path to success. Set up moments in your day to reflect on what you truly care about and talk about your feelings with those who know you well & make be able to offer some good advice!
I have been feeling so lost recently. I feel like I have a foot in too many worlds. I started a full-time contract position in September that goes until February - so that is temporary, so I don't feel like I really fit there even though I am loving it. I am in school part-time so I really don't feel like I am apart of that world kind of like I'm only passing through. I start a part-time contract position in November (another temporary thing). I love my friends and family from my hometown but every time I visit it just reminds me of how much I have outgrown that place and would feel so stuck if I lived there again. Also I am the only one of my friends who is single & I am happy for them but I just don't know where I fit in their lives anymore. The place I live, I only know a couple of people even though I have been here for 4 years but 2.5 of those years have been COVID. I have just been feeling so isolated but not in the sense of isolation like in COVID just an isolation of what happens now and where do I go from here. when you were crying with Katie, I have felt that so many time in the last few months, it's scary. Lots of Love, life is hard sometimes.

If you feel like you have time I totally recommend finding something fun that you love to get involved with that is your stability. I’m graduating from nursing school this year, but I’m a year behind so all of my friends have left the state (end of an era like you said!). I’ll be moving to Hawaii with my husband after being apart for a year when he went to South Korea. I don’t know where I want to work or where I’ll be living or how to get my car over there…. Hey girl!! QOTD: I am just going through a busy semester with school, and trying to get all of my required practicum hours at this preschool before the end of the semester! I have been sick more times in the last few months than I have ever in a long time which is really odd too and preventing me right now from getting these hours, so I'm a bit stressed (I need to this class to take my senior year, second semester internship class in the spring, so ya girl is a bit stressed because I don't want the practicum class to prevent me from graduating in the spring! Hopefully this cold passes and I can get back with the kiddos soon and makeup some hours... Also, faith is big in my life so I'm trying to embrace who I am and not be ashamed of it or the desires I have in my life and know that God's on my side :)

I just had hip surgery and I’m dying to walk . I never realized how hard being handicap is. I have a greater appreciation for anyone that has a hard time walking. 3 more weeks till I start learning how to walk again!!
I took my NCLEX last week and passed in 75 questions in 1 hour! All I did was Mark Klimek and Kaplan (my school also made me buy it) for like 2 weeks 4 hours a day. You got this!

I don't know if this is too late. I just stumbled onto this video randomly. All you need for NCLEX is a hurst review. They literally tell you everything you need to know. I took boards in 2015 and it wasn't too bad.

I'm in college studying animal science. I'm only a sophomore. I took a test the other day and left so confident. I was ify on a couple questions but still felt amazing about it. I got my grade back yesterday and it was not as good as I wanted to or how I felt how I did. I had another test yesterday and I just second guessed myself the whole time because of the animal science grade and my confidence with it
I know that feeling well…so disappointing but I believe in your ability to find a new study method that can help you bounce back from this! Or go talk to your professor if you’re out of ideas…I’m sure they want to help!
I graduated grad school in May and still struggling to find my place job wise. I am disabled which makes it hard for me to do a lot of things job wise besides the thing I studied for. I have a couple of interviews this coming week for jobs in my field. Fingers crossed.
I'm struggling with living alone. I moved out of my parent's house when I was 19, and I live over 700 miles away from them. My mom has significant health issues, which stresses me out being so far away. I'm losing motivation this semester for my graduate classes. I'm pretty sure I'm just in a slump. My dog keeps having allergic reactions, and I'm panicking, trying to figure out what it's from. And I keep feeling like whenever I can start saving some money, something goes wrong, and I need to spend the money I've been saving immediately. I feel like sometimes I am drowning, and no one in my life understands (I am sure I have friends who understand). And I haven't seen my best friend of 12 years in over four years.
Sounds like you're going through a lot of stressful stuff right now! I'm sending you hugs and hope that you can find something to bring you some joy right now. Don't stress too much about not saving as much as others..you're doing your best and have lots on your plate right now (not to mention how much it costs to live alone!). While I was vacationing in Hawaii with my two friends, one of them did something stupid and got really hurt. We took her to the ER and the hospital told us she had internal bleeding and a couple of fractures in her skull. Eventually, me and my other friend had to go back home due to work, so we had to leave her there. She ended up have brain surgery and can't leave for 5 weeks. She is still currently there. I miss my friend.😥❤
Kiara I have faith in you that you will pass your nclex exam with flying colors. My thought for the day- My parents were quite elderly and sick the last 3 1/2 - 4 years of their lives. And they are gone now. My father had mobility issues and it was virtually impossible to take him anywhere from March 2020 until his passing October 2021. There is a need for more geriatric care. More home care where a pa or nurse like you that comes to one’s house for checkups and bloodwork. This would be approved by the patient’s primary care physician. That would have my father aide’s job so much easier. Both her and myself could have asked questions about his care. It could have been a win win situation for all parties. My thought for another video is nursing homes in our country.

I’ve been using it as a resource when I come across a topic in a question that I don’t feel confident in…so it’s like a huge dictionary for me and I use the index in the back to help me find what I need. This is super helpful because the internet answers I find on Google are so inconsistent. I also use their practice questions online and their comprehensive assessment at the back of the book too!

Hey there, I just wrote the NCLEX in may, was your program 4 years? I know there are different programs in the US and I’m from Canada. I wrote my exam in Maine though and it was stressful during the exam because although the questions were what I expected the answers were oddly unusual. Best of luck and it will be fine :) I used Uworld and loved it.

The beginning of my junior year in law school was hard. I lost my stuying habit, so I didn´t got the grades that I wanted, they are not bad but not what I try to achieve So I´ve been a little sad about it. I will try to link up with some guys that are in my class to have motivation to study again.
Lots of weekly lists, find your study group, get involved in something on campus or something that brings you joy, utilize different resources, & celebrate all your wins!
Oh…..my birthday girls aren’t going to be together anymore. When I was 11 or so my best friend moved to San Diego. I heard he was depressed and killed himself. I wish I could of been there to talk to him. I still think of you and KatiMac going fishing together. Stretching a net between 2 boats would require 2 or 3 people to do. Oh Kiara, I just graduated this july with a job and moved into the city. I'm currently feeling very overwhelmed with my studies, because I'm trying to graduate next summer but there is SO much stuff to do, and most of it is self-study with very few actual classes and little structure. And then this weekend I'll have a dance tournament all weekend, which will be great but very tiring and, let's be real, a quite high chance of coming back with covid.. So I'm also preparing mentally and practically for distancing from my partner for a week.

For the past few days, I've been with my parents in my new city while they were helping to move me in my college dorm and they just left, and while I was soooo confident that I was taking the right decision not staying in my hometown, I just went on google maps and scan every single street of it while bawling my eyes out

Your Today Question is always interesting~ Currently, I'm planning to apply for a boot camp to become a software engineer in the future. I enjoy learning computer related stuff like coding and hope I'll be able to enter the offline course. Then I'll need to move out since the educational center is not located in my city. Btw, it's natural to cry when your best friend moves out :) I'm a man but I also cried two times in a row when I left for my home country, Korea because I really relished every life moment during my stay in America. Your country was beautiful and inspiring to me and I don't still forget that. Maybe it's why I still watch a bunch of different American youtubers to learn more about your country in general :)

I'm in my senior year of college and turning 22 at the end of this month, and I feel so unstable and uncertain of my future. Just for reference, I'm a Nutritional Science and Research major pursuing an accelerated Masters (and later hopefully Med School for Pediatrics). I just feel like everything in my life is slipping at the moment, and I can't seem to catch my breath. Because of this, I just feel so disconnected with my ambition & passion which I feel like is just perpetuating the cycle... Definitely a big period of change with everyone planning to go in different directions. I want to make the most out of my senior year, but I also need to prioritize school so it's really been hard to juggle. If anyone has any words of wisdom/ advice, please send it my way~ lol just had a cry sesh over this so I feel very heard
I feel this so much. It’s the classic senior year struggle that all have to experience and few discuss. Sending you the best vibes. Take time to hang out with the people you love each day to make memories and give yourself something to look forward to as you navigate this time. Things do have a funny way of working out when someone as hard working as yourself has set yourself up on this path to success. Set up moments in your day to reflect on what you truly care about and talk about your feelings with those who know you well & make be able to offer some good advice!

I have been feeling so lost recently. I feel like I have a foot in too many worlds. I started a full-time contract position in September that goes until February - so that is temporary, so I don't feel like I really fit there even though I am loving it. I am in school part-time so I really don't feel like I am apart of that world kind of like I'm only passing through. I start a part-time contract position in November (another temporary thing). I love my friends and family from my hometown but every time I visit it just reminds me of how much I have outgrown that place and would feel so stuck if I lived there again. Also I am the only one of my friends who is single & I am happy for them but I just don't know where I fit in their lives anymore. The place I live, I only know a couple of people even though I have been here for 4 years but 2.5 of those years have been COVID. I have just been feeling so isolated but not in the sense of isolation like in COVID just an isolation of what happens now and where do I go from here. when you were crying with Katie, I have felt that so many time in the last few months, it's scary. Lots of Love, life is hard sometimes.

If you feel like you have time I totally recommend finding something fun that you love to get involved with that is your stability. I’m graduating from nursing school this year, but I’m a year behind so all of my friends have left the state (end of an era like you said!). I’ll be moving to Hawaii with my husband after being apart for a year when he went to South Korea. I don’t know where I want to work or where I’ll be living or how to get my car over there…. We’re definitely all going through it! It’s a time of change and we’ll all find our place! Love your channel and honesty! Congrats!

Hey girl!! QOTD: I am just going through a busy semester with school, and trying to get all of my required practicum hours at this preschool before the end of the semester! I have been sick more times in the last few months than I have ever in a long time which is really odd too and preventing me right now from getting these hours, so I'm a bit stressed (I need to this class to take my senior year, second semester internship class in the spring, so ya girl is a bit stressed because I don't want the practicum class to prevent me from graduating in the spring! Hopefully this cold passes and I can get back with the kiddos soon and makeup some hours... Also, faith is big in my life so I'm trying to embrace who I am and not be ashamed of it or the desires I have in my life and know that God's on my side :)

I took my NCLEX last week and passed in 75 questions in 1 hour! All I did was Mark Klimek and Kaplan (my school also made me buy it) for like 2 weeks 4 hours a day. You got this!

I don't know if this is too late. I just stumbled onto this video randomly. All you need for NCLEX is a hurst review. They literally tell you everything you need to know. I took boards in 2015 and it wasn't too bad.

I'm in college studying animal science. I'm only a sophomore. I took a test the other day and left so confident. I was ify on a couple questions but still felt amazing about it. I got my grade back yesterday and it was not as good as I wanted to or how I felt how I did. I had another test yesterday and I just second guessed myself the whole time because of the animal science grade and my confidence with it

I'm struggling with living alone. I moved out of my parent's house when I was 19, and I live over 700 miles away from them. My mom has significant health issues, which stresses me out being so far away. I'm losing motivation this semester for my graduate classes. I'm pretty sure I'm just in a slump. My dog keeps having allergic reactions, and I'm panicking, trying to figure out what it's from. And I keep feeling like whenever I can start saving some money, something goes wrong, and I need to spend the money I've been saving immediately. I feel like sometimes I am drowning, and no one in my life understands (I am sure I have friends who understand). And I haven't seen my best friend of 12 years in over four years.
Sounds like you're going through a lot of stressful stuff right now! I'm sending you hugs and hope that you can find something to bring you some joy right now. Don't stress too much about not saving as much as others..you're doing your best and have lots on your plate right now (not to mention how much it costs to live alone!). While I was vacationing in Hawaii with my two friends, one of them did something stupid and got really hurt. We took her to the ER and the hospital told us she had internal bleeding and a couple of fractures in her skull. Eventually, me and my other friend had to go back home due to work, so we had to leave her there. She ended up have brain surgery and can't leave for 5 weeks. She is still currently there. I miss my friend.😥❤

My thought for the day-
My parents were quite elderly and sick the last 3 1/2 - 4 years of their lives. And they are gone now. My father had mobility issues and it was virtually impossible to take him anywhere from March 2020 until his passing October 2021. There is a need for more geriatric care. More home care where a pa or nurse like you that comes to one’s house for checkups and bloodwork. This would be approved by the patient’s primary care physician.
That would have my father aide’s job so much easier. Both her and myself could have asked questions about his care. It could have been a win win situation for all parties.
My thought for another video is nursing homes in our country.

Hi Kiara! How are you studying with the Saunders book? I'm struggling with how to use the book to study, it is a big book!
I’ve been using it as a resource when I come across a topic in a question that I don’t feel confident in…so it’s like a huge dictionary for me and I use the index in the back to help me find what I need. This is super helpful because the internet answers I find on Google are so inconsistent. I also use their practice questions online and their comprehensive assessment at the back of the book too!

Hey there, I just wrote the NCLEX in may, was your program 4 years? I know there are different programs in the US and I’m from Canada. I wrote my exam in Maine though and it was stressful during the exam because although the questions were what I expected the answers were oddly unusual. Best of luck and it will be fine :) I used Uworld and loved it.

Oh…..my birthday girls aren’t going to be together anymore. When I was 11 or so my best friend moved to San Diego. I heard he was depressed and killed himself. I wish I could of been there to talk to him.

This is my senior year of college and it’s hitting me that I need to get a big girl job, and I’m still unsure of grad school. I feel like everyone is taking a different route and I feel lonely🥺. Oh Kiara, I just graduated this july with a job and moved into the city. My friend is still waiting for her offer so I had to move alone into a one bedroom apartment and I just gotta say it's so difficult. Waking up on time, travelling to work specially when you use a lot of public transport, coming back home later, barely managing to cook dinner, skincare and then hit the bed only to repeat it all again.
Ps- Never had a an entire apartment to myself before so having a ton of sleepless nights. 🥲
