  • This vlog is about our day trip to Shugborough Hall near Great Haywood, Staffordshire.
    In 1960 following the death of the 4th Earl the estate was passed to the National Trust and reopened in 1966 with Lord Litchfield retaining an apartment in the hall until his death in 2005.
    Since 2011 the private apartments house an exhibition of Patrick Litchfield's work and studio.
    Its a beautiful place with many features and we do recommend a visit.

    You can take pictures and video inside the hall, just not Lord Lichfields old apartments. 👍

      Yes I believe that to be the case and one side merges into the other and we didn’t realise you could film at that point 🙄🤣🖖🏻

      @@twoboldlygoinourcampervan Yes they do merge and sometimes they open up the outside doors on the left front wing, depending on the number of volunteers that turn up. Lived in Stafford all my life and only just got round to videoing it myself 🙄. Nice one. 👍
