July 22, 1934 - outside Chicago's Biograph Theater, a barrage of FBI bullets brings down John Dillinger. As the body of Public Enemy Number one crumbles to the ground, one of the strangest, most riveting stories in the history of crime begins to unfold. It seems that J. Edgar Hoover's boys have unknowingly blown away the wrong Dillinger -- not John, but his brother. While G-Men are grabbing the headlines, the real Dillinger slips away to go straight with a new life. But "Scarface" Al Capone knows all about Dillinger and his secret new identity, and confronts him. He wants Dillinger to pull one more heist, a bank where Capone has millions stashed away. And he's got an offer Dillinger can't refuse. So now, five years after his death, with Chicago's most infamous mobster holding his wife and son for insurance, John Dillinger has to pull off the biggest bank job of all time.

Blending historical fact and fiction makes for a fun and entertaining movie....well done!
Mr. Teppo, thank you for PROVING that to watch a Classic Movie, a person does NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR A CLASSIC MOVIE on the Internet via UA-cam!
I used to go to the Biograph movies in the 40's.
may watcheble when filmed without colors.......big may
Thanks for uploading
Love these movies! Martin Sheen played Dillinger's character really well. Thanks for sharing.
looks like screwtube dlocked my comnts seemy channel??
Great Cast. 6 out of 10 score as a film. Cool premise; too bad they didn't know how do more with it.
Two leading charters killed it, supporting cast drove it home. Worthy.
I used this movie to put me to sleep, I heard the wind and rain so i turned it off!
michael oliver is sam dalton aka junior healy in problem child 1&2 :-)
Good flick.. thanks fot uploading
Glaring mistake, John Dillinger was NOT shot in a lobby but in an alleyway as he was leaving a cinema, this is well documented, it's a shame the scriptwriters can't do their research.
how do you know; was you there?
No but my Grand-father was

I love this movie!!!
Wonderful!
Thanks
It's crazy how Martin Sheen looks and sounds so much like Charlie and Emillio. Or is it the other way around? The apples didn't fall from the tree that's for sure.
Love gangster movies 👍
The score sounds like it was pulled directly from “The Untouchables.”
Fine Jazz .. does well to the movie.
i LOVE IT!
"Now look, I gotta go change"!!! Lololol
Fun! Thanks!
Very good movie and great download thank you very much
i do not think dillinger, and capone, ever treamed up.
In other movies, Dillinger died in an alley, not in the lobby of the theater.
1:26:10 thats michael oliver as sam dalton aka junior healy from problem child 1&2 holding a gun, my favorite scene in the movie :-)
yeah but sadly his final movie.
Great movie we enjoyed it very much... Thank you my friend...

Cool
Capone was hilarious asf
Exceptionally Brilliant ❤
Dillinger was a bank robber and I doubt very much he ever meet Capone or any of the big time bootlegger gangsters.
I am sure they met in a place named Wirt Minnesota, at the lodge owned by 2 brothers, Charlie and Frank Pondilikl. I got a call one day while I was vacationing, from a friend who was a friend of the brothers. He needed help to move a huge teak headboard from what was left of the lodge after it burned down. The item was Dillinger's personal handmade headboard. Wider than King Size and weight of over 200 lbs. The lodge had several stories with 3-4 suites on each floor. Each suite was owned by one or another of the gangsters of the era. Dillinger was one as was Capone, Kelly and others.
I went to school with a great nephew of Dillinger. He told me part of the story and I told him about the lodge. It was his family, so I was told that came to collect the headboard. The area is close to Grand Rapids MN. Home of Judy Garland. BTW, my last name is Baum. No relation of course.
The mob hid them, souped their cars. Modified their guns, they hid out in chi all the time ( for a fee of course)
Good movie
Geez,..really?Dillenger was not shot in the theatre!!He was confronted ,outside the Biograph theatre, ran,to his right, started to duck down an alley....and that is where he was killed!!!
He turned left...

So Dillinger was getting out the game, when he was forced to do that job for Capone. That's why they say, "find a way to make it out the game", because there will be something trying to pull you back in.
So Dillinger found a way to make it out the game. Good for him. And lived the longest.
I can dig it it ant that bad.
G -men are looking for OG!
Thank you for the Classic films :))
very nice
I got half way nice cars nice scenes wasted on a stupid movie. ZZZzzz I came from Tess now that's a well made film great casting, mesmerising scenes, scenery and based on a true story of the last female hanged in England.
i love michael olivers facial expression 1:23:42
Dillinger got killed in an alley outside of the theater!
what are you talking about?? he doesn't die in this movie
I only watched the first minute or so.
Dillinger wasn't going into the theatre, he had seen the movie and was coming out with the woman in red, which was actually orange, but looked red under the theatre lights.
He wasn't shot in the theatre like the film showed, he was in the ally next to the theatre, and was unarmed when he was shot in the back.
nice
Wow wow wow !!!!!!!
top of the world was jimmy cagney but white heat was in 1949!
one of the worst gangster movies. worst titled too! very lousy.
Abraham really looks like the real AL CAPONE a lot !
O filme é bom, mas faltou um roteiro mais aprimorado. 😅
Eu amo o Michael Oliver, pena que ele não teve tanta ênfase nesse filme! ❤
Very good movie
Great Good Story
Dillinger did not get shot inside the Movie house. WTF?
Will save this movie
Saying John dillinger lived and it was his brother but then saying al Capone was well enough to team up with each other with all that money it's push my imagination to the limits
Many thanks for the film share. Good story but strange choice of (under performing) cast.
Thanks for the hell of a movie
At about 18:00 the musical score sounded "Godfather-Like".

The BBC did a documentary abt John Dillinger. Dillinger had gray eyes, he was also vy athletic.
The man shot outside the Biograph Theater in Chicago, who was supposedly JD, is a little different.
The man the FBI shot had brown eyes, he had Rheumatic Fever as a child. So this man could not hv done the things Dillinger was capable of.
For one thing, he could never hv escaped FM Little Bohemia shootout with the FBI.
Another point. The deal Anna Sage made with the FBI had a vy important condition.
The FBI had 2 kill Dillinger! Not arrest him. Also, the finger prints taken of the supposed corpse of Dillinger did not match Dillinger's prints.
It wasn't until abt a week later tt the FBI was able 2 match the finger prints.
This is just something 2 think abt.😊
Never seen this b4
bad bad movie
Wish I had a time machine
Capone is the bad guy from "Scarface" ... Al Pacino
Which part is junior Healy on someone give me a length number.
Mike D Certainly. I gave my girlfriend two lengths last night.....and I still beat her in the 400 meters freestyle. Not bad going, eh ?

The best mobster was Frank The Enforcer Nitti. You just can’t compare him with anybody he was the powerhouse of Capone family. Frank died Capone lost his legacy in Chicago
I agree. Please subscribe and like my movie.
I agree. Frank nittti the enforcer was the. Best for what i understand. Frank helled. THe. Reains for 40 something years!!!=# he was the man!!!!!🔫
@Sunson Joseph. Paul Ricca actually had Nitty under pressure! When big Al went away it was Paul Ricca who was really calling the shots! Just sayin! 🤷🏾♂️
Lansky, Luciano, Ace.
Sheen's role is not convincing in this low budget! I'm sure some young whippersnapper will be offended I said this...but I studied a bit of film in my college days.
That's becos after the year 2000 onwards, Hollywood been feeding u ppl with shit of low class and low life actor or actress that's why u felt that Martin sheen dose not play the part, I find it he plays the part.
absolutely. Please subscribe and like my movie.
Junior Healy
Terrible casting for Capone and Dillinger! And I don't think they ever met let alone worked together.
I agree wholeheartedly with you!!! This movie is totally historically inaccurate, the casting for Al Capone is laughable. I mean the actor bares not a single semblance to Al Capone lol... In a short statement, this movie is pure shit!!!
They weren't even the same kind of gang criminals or in the same part of the country
Kor 82 I mean, I get your point. But it’s just a stupid concept for a serious film, at least it’s trying to be. It’s like if you had a film where Hitler started working with Sadam Hussein and it wasn’t a fucking comedy.
Kor 82 I enjoy films like Bonnie And Clyde from ‘67, Baby Face Nelson from ‘57, Dillinger from ‘73, or even the Untouchables tv series from ‘59 to ‘63 despite its major historical inaccuracies. But, they have people from the same time period and who were still in the same scene. Fiction is fine, but in instances like these, it just doesn’t work cuz Dillinger and Capone aren’t even criminals for the same reasons or in the same kind of gang. A better fiction choice for two mobsters in a fiction would maybe be Charles Luciano and Capone
The shooting took place in an alley outside the Biograph. And the photos of Dillinger's body taken in the morgue do not show any sign of a final head shot. But at least the producers got Dillinger's name spelled right.
Remember, this is Hollywood. The truth doesn't matter as much as dramatization.
I saw a film where the Americans retrieved the Enigma machine from a German U-Boat. In reality, it was the British, but that wouldn't sell as well to patriotic Americans.
please explain 1947 plymouth in car chase (15:44) in an event taking place in 1933
B Movie!
Gotta make some money! Now - is this not about Dillinger after supposedly having been assassinated by the Feds; so - then - ostensibly - the Fed vehicle would be contemporary and the older model cars driven by impecunious denizens??? I enjoy the acting of Murray Abraham and Martin Sheen: both needed money at the time. A bear will come down the mountain when he is hungry - like the Old Man of the Village said in The Seven Samurai!
K...IT'S A MOVIE!
Yes ...they were clearly looking for some tuna sandwiches

thanks great movie aja out 🦋
Let's see. John Dillinger died in 1934 and Big Al Capone was in prison/released in 1947 and died and this movie was suppose to be based in the 1940?!
Its fiction

Here kitty kitty kitty haha
They never met and Dillinger really did die in 34 .
fictional movie, remember?
In reality if you do some actual research you will find that Dillinger wasn't killed in front of the Biograph Theater. It was a man named Henry Lawrence. The man killed had different colored eyes than Dillinger and had a Birth Defect that would have kept him out of the Military and he wouldn't have been able to play Minor League Baseball. Dillinger did both. The FBI kept it hidden for decades. It's all proven with the autopsy reports in a series of books called "Blood Letters and Badmen".

really good

who did the casting for this movie should be fired.
1:08 i'd like to walk around with a light on my head so they can see me to shoot me
FBI agents just standing around, not too obvious.
If anybody cares, the swingy intro song and the bits throughout the movie was a song called "Sing Sing Sing" by drummer Gene Krupa. He usta play it on his TV show as well. How do I know? I practiced those drum licks until I could puke.
Christopher Wyller. why you playing the drums make you puke? That's disgusting and scandalous! Because that's a load of crap and you know it!
While I will admit it's disgusting and scandalous I defy you to show me this "Load of crap" that I'm supposed to know! Where is this crap? Put your crap where your mouth is!
Christopher Wyller sadd
Christopher Wyller the crap came out your mouth on your imaginary drum set member
People like you are the reason i'm convinced that there's no future for the human race.
1950's model car chasing a 1930's car, what?
🤔I WONDER IF PINOCCHIO WROTE THE SCRIPT?BECAUSE HIS NOSE SHOULD BE AS LONG AS THE FREEDOM TOWER, BUT GOOD FANTASY LAND MOVIE AND GOOD ACTORS THANKS
This whole film is inaccurate. Starting with Dillinger killed inside the theatre.
If you watched it further the person shot in the theatre was his brother and not Dillinger himself
Yes a good one
right off the hop bs... dillenger dies in an alley not in the theater... right there, im out... waste of time...
it's not meant to be historical. it's fiction based on history and a rumor at the time that Dillinger actually escaped death and that the man killed was his brother.
Ur right .. who ever doing these movies the need to get the history right
This is psychedelic! Could be a cult B movie in the end!
