Back in 2013 work started on building the Borders Railway. This series presented a timeline documentary reporting events as they happened between then and the opening in 2015.
In the last episode in this series we looked at the timetable and price structure for the Borders Railway which had just been announced. We spoke with Councillor David Parker of the Scottish Borders Council on his thoughts on the new Interchange, and went into Galashiels to talk to some members of the public to get their views on the return of the railway to the area for almost 50 years, and we looked at more of the construction work being done in the Galashiels and Tweedbank areas.
We end with some timelapse footage of the new Hardengreen Bridge being built courtesy of Network Rail.
