I did swear out loud when I heard “insurance companies are not difficult to deal with”. My experience was one of fear and stress along with years of frustration and exasperation. The Insurers “bad” reputation is truly justified for me. To keep things balanced, I am extremely fortunate that I did have those insurances in place - the claim was paid out (eventually)and they saved my family from disaster.

Hi Keith, I agree that insurers can definitely do more to make their requirements less onerous. Adding fear and stress when you're in a situation of needing to claim is counter-productive. I'm glad that you got the outcome (eventually). If you're on an ongoing claim and want any sort of 2nd opinion, please feel free to reach out with no cost. best of luck. Wilson

My husband lost his job for 3 months during Covid time, but his insurance company did not pay for his income protection as they states because of the pandemic????

Hi there, let me know if you're still pursuing this as we're glad to help even just with explaning the situation. Personal insurances would cover for events where your husband is unable to work because of sickness/injury or an accident.
