Got stuck in a SOL Perp long at $172 about 3-4 months ago. Rode it down to the $120's multiple times and just finally got to close it today. Instead of losing half my investment somehow I was able to get back into profit and close it. Even though it was only a 1.9x leverage that was one hell of a ride I don't want to take again. All because my stop loss didn't go through 3-4 months ago lol.
I thought youve previously advised only have max 10% in a proxy (eg MSTR/Miners etc) rather than pure BTC but now youre mostly MSTR over spot BTC ? .Thank You

Almost nobody bought Solana at the ultimate bottom of 8$. It never dropped to 8$ on many exchanges. In crypto the values are not uniform across all exchanges.

Wouldn't be the best way to protect the BTC bag during the Bear market to short on coin margined perp contracts? Imagine that the value of BTC drops e.g. 60% and the amount of your BTC actually grows in the process.

I get it and even add it as a supplemental trade on severe pullbacks but aren’t we getting away from the initial basic function why we are in BTC in the first place?
