The little catfish you caught is what we refer to as “madtoms” they live under rocks for the most part and are dynamite smallmouth bait. I bet those big trout would smoke em too.

March brown sparkle dun, pheasant tails, March brown emergers, hendricksons, and some livelylegz double troubles all caught fish on little pine.
