I have the tm22 feather which is the plastic composite model. They have updated this part and the stock/buffer tube looks now to be not removeable. It eliminates the locknut and flat set screw. I guess this also eliminates the rubber bushing/bolt stock wearing issue.
The bolt stopper issue was never an issue on the Feather model in the first place. Designed differently. On the Feather, the bolt stopper is molded into the upper receiver and there is no access to the buffer tube ... so the bolt stopper can't move rearward into the buffer tube at all.

It's the special custom tool that comes with the rifle. If you don't have one, you'll have to contact the distributer or DIY something.

Nope, no spring in the stock. Just a hollow tube.
