I think that KarL was a test version of the Plymouth. Look at the back of KarL and the Plymouth to confirm it.
My theory is that KarL is mad at you for abandoning that Plymouth a few episodes ago and is punishing you for doing so.

I have a Karl theory: When the Long Drive was invented, he was the first version of the car. There were also many other cars that looked like him. But when the game became more realistic, they were all deleted. Except for Karl. Now he roams around the map looking for someone to play with (which is Karla). But everyone and everything is scared that Karl will bring bad luck.
I think Karl is not a forgotten dev car but I think Karl was sent by the devs to stop us from getting to the truth that mom is dead, I mean we haven't seen or heard about her except that letter we got but that could be fake.

My theory is that Karl was gonna be one of the first cars added by the devs but he (It) was forgotten and then Karl got mad and came back but cursed and now he (It) can do is haunt the world of long drive.
Forgot Camodo doesn't know all vehicles need to be started in neutral. It's not like he should know after 112 episodes.

I just watch a video and some guy summoned it and he was able to drive it. When he drove it the entire inside was clear so maybe this is a good car that the devs use just to get to the end faster than anyone else. Or it is a furtr car that was leak in some of the mods

Camodooooooo you must listen to me I don’t have a theory about Carl but I know that in th dessert biom there are some very big rocks that shape a door like a portal and if you go there Carl will stop visiting you please check it next time it’s a bit far from the road but at least try. Also Carl is a classic Ai car if you stop him by pulling out the wheels you can get in and you will see a pumpkin like normal.

This is just a speculation for Karl but the reason he goes by and the lights dim is because the devs had him for testing so that means that the shading for it and its head lights don’t work so the headlights are a reverse of the light that normal cars have so when he passes lights it removes the lighting for the lamps
It might just be because it’s a test version of a vehicle though
