What's New at the Harry Potter Studio Tour 2020 | Covid Safety Measures, Eating Vegan & MORE!

- Want to know what's new at the Harry Potter Studio Tour in London in 2020. I went to the reopening of the Harry Potter Studio tour after the coronavirus lockdown! I went to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in Watford yesterday (Sunday 23rd August 2020) after it's reopening on the 20th. In this vlog you will be able to see what is new to the tour including the celebration of Slytherin sets and costumes, what the new health and safety measures are for coronavirus/covid-19 safety, what vegan options there are on their limited menu and much more! At the end of the video I talk through in detail about all the safety measures followed by a mini haul, so stay tuned for that!

You guys are so cute! Watching this made me realize all the things I missed, like the Professor Flitwick model, when I went to the studio back in 2018! Maybe they'll even add an extension to the studio and add in some Fantastic Beasts sets and props :OOO
It could be that they've been added since you last went, I now know they're always changing things there! What was your favourite part when you last went?
Sorry I just re read your comment and there were actually a few costumes from the Fantastic Beasts, I didn't see any sets though!

This place is AMAZING!! 🤩🤩 I'm a little jelly beans you guys have that over there! Lol. But I'm glad we have actual ride attractions at Universal Studios lol. I really like all the safety measures they had there and all the wiping down they were doing. I'm glad you guys felt safe there. That vegan fish and chips looked ok lol. I LOVE the studio tour! Yeah you usually can go on the Hogwarts express but I think because of how cramped it is in there they didn’t allow it. But OMG Gringotts is AMAZING! I loved reliving a lot of the tour as well as seeing the new bits.
Yes, it would probably be hard to control crowding on the Hogwarts express! Yes, I think Gringotts was my favourite bit, it was so beautiful and detailed! Was it there when you last went?
Chelsea Addams no it wasn’t. I went two summers ago and the theme was all about the Yule Ball and it was awesome! I actually caught the name that came out of the Goblet of Fire and got to keep it! It was awesome!
@@PunziesPalace Ahh wow that sounds so cool! I didn't realise they did themes, when I went this time it was the Celebration of Slytherin but the 2 times I went before I didn't remember there being a theme but i did go just after it opened and then again a year later so maybe they didn't do it then!
Chelsea Addams oh I would love to go right now! I’m a slytherin and that would be so cool!! I have a few videos from my time there but lots of pictures. Not sure if it would be something people would watch but I loved watching this! I know you’re vegan but the butter beer ice cream is really good!

Ahh yeah, I was going to try it before I was vegan when I was in universal in Florida but thought it sounded gross and ended up getting a regular butter beer instead haha

@@LondonerbyYaroslavaKirichok Ahh amazing! This was my third time but the last time I went they didn't even have the hogwarts express so A LOT had changed! It was so amazing to see! You definitely need to go and visit Gringotts, that was incredible!

Hello, I think it took us around 4/4 and a half hours to go round and we were spending quite a bit of time in each place. You could definitely take longer then that if you are someone who likes to read everything in museums, I read a fair amount but not everything. It also depends if there are queues for the Hogwarts express, and other photo opportunities, when I went we didn't wait any longer then 5 minutes really but it was also one of the first days that it re-opened so it probably wasn't too busy compared to normal. So maybe take this into account too. Hope this helps (:

I had tickets to go a few weeks ago with my son, but I am going to wait until the Covid risks is low enough that we can go on all the tour items. I actually wanted to find out if I could go to the section where you can try on the actual cloaks from the film. Thank you again, I really enjoy your work. All the best.
@@hawkmoon241 Ah yes, for the photos on the brooms, we weren't allowed to put on the cloaks so yes I'd wait a bit longer until everything is back to normal! Hopefully that's not too long for you!

No we weren’t, I don’t think that was an option before that I’m aware of though! They do have the cupboard under the stairs at the start of the tour but I don’t remember seeing much more of their house
I’m so happy this place has vegan stuff cuz I’m allergic to dairy products and vegans don’t eat/drink dairy products. I was hoping to go here when I’m older with some friends.
i have been to the studio tour. can people still go in the gift shop? when i went there back in 2015 i brought 5 items
Yes the gift shop is still open but you can only go in at the end of the tour 😊
I am travelling down from birmingham Saturday is the shuttle bus still reliable?
I'm sorry I drove there so I'm not 100% sure. But, I think when I went I read that there was no shuttle bus at that time so maybe have a look into that as I would hate for you to be stranded at a train station! It could well have changed now though, sorry I couldn't be much help there!
How long was your trip in the studio??? The whole day how long did it take?
I have a feeling we were in there for around 4-4:30 hours, we did take our time though! It depends how much you read, I didn’t even read everything and that’s quite a long time haha but yes such an amazing day! Are you going soon?
Im from germany and going in december, quite scared the covid situation will make us not be able to leave the country :(

What was it like wearing a mask for so long? Were there any places that you can go and take them off for a bit?
Hey! I didn’t find it too bad to be honest, there is a part half way round where there’s a cafe and if you get something there you can take your mask off and around the tour there are quite a few toilets so I guess you could always go in there and take your mask off for a few minutes if you need, but when there’s so much to see you do just forget you’re even wearing it!
I’m going there for the first time in 2 weeks is it rlly busy on a Saturday at 3:30
I'm sorry I went on a Sunday at 3 so I can't say exactly but it wasn't too busy and I can't imagine it will be any busier then it was a few weeks ago when I went
