Yall are being weird in the comments talking about how "doormats" basically deserve to be treated like crap. People pleasing and fear of confrontation are very real things you cant just "snap out of" over night, and its never your fault that someone treats you badly when youve done nothing to them. That kind of mindset is why people have trouble leaving bad situations in the first place. Youre literally cementing that they deserve this treatment for being meek, and they stay because they think theyre rightfully being punished.
Thank you so much for this The amount of comments saying she deserved it is disgusting And the channel even hearted them, lost respect for the soulless ai voice.
Exactly. I was walked all over in previous relationships, mainly because I was abused and people pleasing was how I knew to keep the peace. I'm better now but the fact that people are being cruel makes me realize how little empathy people actually have with those who are being pushed around
@@thirstyserpent1079 "It'S CAllEd gRoW a FucKiNG SpINe" actually shut up. sometimes the only person you can depend on is yourself, that may be true. But if someone is in a relationship like this, where they are just being non-confrontational, it isn't a place to "grow a spine" It's a situation where you either need to leave, or tell them to get their shit together. the "grow a spine" bullshit is toxic as fuck, and we shouldn't be enabling behavior that would cause this phrase to be used.
@@RadicalMonarch”It’s a situation where you need to either leave or tell them to get their shit together” That’s literally what he means by “grow a spine”. There’s a big difference between this guy telling OP to stand up for herself and the people saying she deserves her treatment. Don’t lump the two together.
I do feel bad for pushovers and doormats. Their manipulative “friends” or “family” test the boundaries to see that you’ll let them do to you. They need to make the decision and want to do better or keep getting treated like dirt.
well to be honest that "best friend" helped her with cheating boyfriend, as we know, cheater will always cheat, better now she know than after marriage
I just be careful that the boyfriend didn't get date graped and then blackmailed. But it sounds like he was complicit. "I only slept with her so she would leave me alone" could point to blackmail. But if true he should have told her friend and have them all turn on her.

It's called grow a fucking spine. The only person you have that you can ever truly depend on at the end of the day is yourself.

Glad she got out of this mess early, imagine if she ended up marrying a cheater and had terrible friend all her life
Then that will be story of marry my husband 😂

Some of them are covert narcissists who use this as a ploy to make everyone feel sorry for them.
@@jackchop1576 that’s true. Covert narcs are excluded from that pity 🙅🏽♀️
SPOILER:
I didn't expect the bf to cheat, he seemed so uninterested. Its so messed up how nonchalant he was about it.
Yah I nearly screamed when he revealed he did sleep with this scum bag of a "friend" I hope the ex boyfriend and ex friend are sad and alone
Yeah it completely caught me off guard as a I thought he didn’t like her but you can’t trust anyone.

Pete is going to be happy for the rest of his life

"im a non confrontational person" ahh yes the cliche at its finest
She should have had that therapy years ago. Then all of this could have been avoided.
If she had those comments as texts then she should of sent them to her ex friend and stopped responding
I feel bad for op but like girl. Strand up for yourself next time.
It's so hard to have sympathy for someone who has no spine. Like, either speak up or reconcile yourself to being a doormat.
I don’t want to get involved so watch it
Never mind I do want to get involved
Is probably the best switch up ever
i was actually shocked when she said the bf cheated. the betrayl stinged just reading it
theres a web comic called “Marry My Husband” 10/10 fr.
its pretty much this exact story.
Isn't that about getting revenge though?
She should take Paul and her roommate on that trip
Bruh a couple of times?💀
