Among the places to go in Himachal Pradesh, if you decide to visit Spiti Valley, you’ll realise soon enough the reason why it’s known as one of the coldest places in the country. Snow from the Himalayas cuts off Spiti from the rest of India for nearly half the year and with its long winding roads and picturesque scenery as well as its charming villages, Spiti is indeed a lovely place to visit in Himachal. Lots of adventure lovers can be found in Spiti for treks and there’s a mountain ropeway from Kibber to Chichum which offers some heart stopping sights of the gorges below.
